There was also an adorable dog, which added to the homey feel. The host was warm and attentive, providing clear check-in instructions and responding promptly to any questions. They even kindly recommended local eateries and attractions. The location is convenient for getting around, yet the environment is quiet and pleasant. Compared to a hotel, it felt much more like a home, with a personal touch and great value for money. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for my next trip. Highly recommended!"

"Facilities: Excellent. Disposable cups and toiletries were provided, along with pristine white towels. There was a shower and bathtub, air conditioning, slatted floors, and a soft, comfortable mattress. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. The room was elegantly and refreshingly decorated, with a grass stool for sitting, drinking tea, eating, and chatting – very pleasant. It was very quiet at night. Environment: Not far from the old town, just a few minutes' walk away. You can also take a city shuttle bus to experience the old town. Parking is available nearby. Service: The owner is a handsome young man who speaks gentle Mandarin. He was very polite, helped with luggage, and led us to the parking lot. He also introduced local restaurants and attractions. His service was first-class and professional. Drawbacks: The washbasin was a bit small and easily got wet. A separate wet and dry area in the bathroom would be better. However, these didn't affect our mood at all; our family was very satisfied with our accommodation."

"Environment: Online reviews and comments described this as the most beautiful guesthouse in Weishan Ancient Town. The wooden structure is charming and the decorations are indeed beautiful. It's located in a great location within the ancient town. Service: The owner was very friendly, even though I was out early and back late. On my first day, I was working late and the main door was locked, but I called the owner to open it. Facilities: There are several tea rooms and rest areas, creating a feeling of being nestled in the mountains and by the water. The guesthouse itself has views and a courtyard. However, the bathroom's wet and dry separation wasn't very good, and the shower pressure wasn't very strong. The convenience of being in the ancient town is great, but the downside is that the old wooden structure has poor sound insulation, and the accommodation space is cramped. The tatami room, about 30 square meters, had a large area dedicated to a tea table. With two suitcases open, it was almost impossible to move around, and people were jumping around on the bed! 😂 The room had a courtyard view, and there was a guqin (a traditional Chinese stringed instrument) area right by the window where children would play and relax, which was quite noisy. Privacy was also poor; I could only keep the curtains drawn. The seats near the entrance were often occupied by people chatting and relaxing. Hygiene: It can't be compared to chain hotels. Small black spots and particles were found on the bath towels and bedding. There were cobwebs in the bathroom. Being close to nature, some small insects and moths are unavoidable. Suitable for travelers who are out early and back late, and who prioritize decor and convenience."
