Looking for a decently priced hotel and lovely service hotel close to Huanglong Station? This is it. Hotel is owned by a friendly family and they are very helpful. They cannot speak English but the daughter added me on WeChat to communicate about what I needed anything. She also guided me through the process of what to do to be able to watch English movies. The hotel is neat and clean, and facilities are decent. The bed is cozy and comfortable, with an electric blanket. I was invited for a hotpot dinner, though I wasn't able to go. I requested breakfast on the day I left and they were more than willing to accommodate me - the breakfast was delicious! Yummy noodles. The owner dropped me at the station in time. There are a few shops (supermarkets and restaurants) within walking distance from the hotel. There is a comfortable lounge area where free tea is available, and some snacks can be bought at reception. It has a nice view (especially if it's snowing). There's a river directly outside of the hotel that can be walked along. I also saw a park area. The hot water was a bit of problem, as it didn't warm up fast enough, then would suddenly go ice cold - so perhaps not great in winter. If this problem is fixed it would definitely be a good place to stay at to be closer to the station. Overall, the service and hospitality was great and I would definitely book this hotel again.

The hostess was incredibly welcoming and welcoming. She even went out of her way to pick me up at the high-speed rail station and offered tips for nearby attractions. There's also a restaurant upstairs, with breakfast service. The room was very comfortable, beautiful, and clean. Traveling alone in a small town, I felt incredibly safe, knowing I could ask the friendly hostess anything. I highly recommend this hotel! Thanks, hostess!

Great place to stay 5 minute walk to gate of old town . Emma speaks English and is very helpful with information about visiting the national parks and arranged a driver for us for both days and to the station when we left. Everyone at the guesthouse is very friendly and the cook makes a great effort with his food which we really enjoyed every night for dinner . Highly recommend. I was on a temporary business trip and arrived at 9pm, so I found a place nearby, a farm stay with food and drinks, a beautiful yard, and other than the inconvenient transportation, everything else was fine! The room is large and clean. It is very comfortable to sit in the yard and drink tea in the sun. The owner is very enthusiastic. It is about 3 kilometers away from the high-speed rail station and the ancient city.

We stayed for only one night but we wish we had more time at this hotel because our stay was marvellous. We were very well welcomed, people were nice and friendly, they even tried to find someone who speaks English for us. The hosts have provided us with all valuable information : about dinner, breakfast and the free shuttle to Huanglong Scenic Are. We had dinner at the hotel, the service was above all expectations, the food was delicious and affordable. We absolutely loved it. The room was great, extremely big, with a huge window and a river view, the bathroom was very convenient with hot water and good pressure. The bed was wide and comfortable, we slept great. At 7am we had a great home cooked breakfast and then the host drove us to the scenic area. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and wish you all the best : happiness, good health and prosperity.

The old wooden house is very eco-friendly, clean and damp-free. What really comforted me was the bedding that smelled like sunbathing! We're not particularly fond of shopping, so we only went out for some delicious food and to admire the night view of the ancient city. The rest of the time, we relaxed in Grandpa Ma's garden, drinking tea, basking in the sun, admiring the flowers and plants. The gentle breeze was intoxicating, and all our worries vanished. Perhaps this is the best way for city dwellers to recharge their batteries! A side note: For those who enjoy hiking, you can go hiking in the back mountain. You can take the wild mountain trail or the Sky Ladder Path, both of which lead to the summit, which is over 2,300 meters above sea level. I felt a little dizzy on the first day, but after returning, the owner massaged my temples, and I felt much better after a short rest. Their specialty is that Grandpa Ma raises his own lambs to provide fresh milk for his family. If you're lucky, you can join the owner for milking early. Children can even ride on the lambs. Many of the lambs are so adorable, you can take photos with them and play with them! As for the smell of sheep poop, I'm quite tolerant. After all, it's produced by grass, which makes it feel more like nature. There was also a lot of cow poop during the hike, which was quite special! My son was lucky enough to step on it several times. Speaking of flowers, we didn't see many this time. The weather was cold this year, so the flowers haven't bloomed yet. They'll bloom beautifully after July, so we saw a lot of buds, about to bloom. I'm so happy for you guys who stayed later. You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into this place! Living in such a quiet and clean courtyard for over 100 people and having such a nice owner is so worth it. I'll definitely come back to Grandpa Ma's next time! What a loving and blessed family!

Top notch hospitality and care from the front desk staffs before we even checked into the hotel. Our luggages were taken from our cab into the hotel before check in. We were then welcomed with hot tea beverages to help relieve my mum’s high altitude sickness. Checking in was a breeze as the front desk anticipated our arrival. The hotel and room has a traditional chinese design which gives a vibe of staying in an ancient chinese town. The bed has warmers that help keeps warm. Water heater works well and basic amenities are adequate. We also received welcome gifts of traditional ******* tea leaves and fragrant incense which are local specialities of the area, from the hotel staff. They also helped to arrange a special soup hotpot dinner where the lovely restaurant staff came to the hotel to lead us to the restaurant. The meal was excellent and value for money. As my mum was not feeling so well due to altitude sickness, we asked if there’s any health massage in the city. The hotel staff helped us make reservation for a ******* health massage and even offered to drive us there! The massage was good and reasonably priced. The hotel is located inside the Songpan Ancient Town. The night lights in the town is perfect for photography. All the attractions in Songpan is within close vicinity. Bus station is also just nearby around 3 minutes drive away. Since we had to catch the high speed railway at Zhenjiangguan, the hotel staff even sent us to the shuttle bus station and get us settled there with our luggage etc. They advised us to get the shuttle bus as it is free to the railway station and also advice on the time to get ready. These kinds of hospitality makes one feel like they are at a relative’s home. Highly recommended.

Finding this hotel during my trip to Songpan was a truly delightful surprise. The hotel was incredibly clean, and the linens were so comfortable—it was definitely up to four-star hotel standards. The receptionists were exceptionally attentive, making it feel like a five-star hotel. Let me start from the beginning: after I got out of the car, the owner called me and picked me up directly in two Li Auto L9s or his Range Rover. Isn't that amazing? Haha, it was absolutely fantastic! After getting out, I was greeted by a beautiful lady named Zhuoma, who presented me with a sacred hada (ceremonial scarf). The feeling of being so honored was indescribable—it was definitely a five-star hotel experience. It was the first time I'd ever encountered such service, being picked up in a Range Rover; usually, it's those old, beat-up minivans. It was incredibly comfortable. Then, entering the lobby, I was struck by its grandeur and the beautiful ambiance. It was the highest standard of ******* scenery, absolutely stunning. The murals in the rooms, corridors, and lobby were all incredibly beautiful. The entire service was truly exceptional. If you get bored, the owner will even take you to Chuanzhusi for free in his Range Rover. He introduces you to many delicious restaurants, including the best Sichuan restaurant in Songpan, and tells you about other things in Chuanzhusi. If you get bored after exploring, the owner contacts you and brings you back – the service is truly exceptional. Back in the room, there's a formal boiler in the lobby, with a stove for heating. Sitting there at night is incredibly warm, and especially during the day when the sunlight streams in, it feels incredibly comfortable. The linens in the room are also up to star-rated hotel standards, very clean, truly impeccable. In Songpan, I think it's rare to find something like this. It's truly amazing. If you want to go somewhere, the owner will plan an itinerary for you the next day. These are authentic ******* restaurants, all for 60 yuan per person, the same price as elsewhere. You can also hire his car – a very comfortable minivan – so you can have a great time. It's great value for money. It's perfect for a family trip. Next time I come, I'll definitely choose this place first. And his ******* breakfast in the morning is especially delicious. Everyone should try it! A breakfast set offers over 10 different items, including barley cakes, tsampa, ghee, and milk tea, which are particularly delicious. Well, enough said, everyone really needs to experience it for themselves; it's truly wonderful, and the service is excellent.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's very convenient for transportation, making it easy to get to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. The hotel owner is very warm and considerate. I had a wonderful stay this time. The most important thing is that the hotel environment is really great – first and foremost, it's clean and tidy. Plus, the view is fantastic. I just don't have the habit of taking photos on the fly; otherwise, I would have taken many pictures.

The inn is in the ancient city, an authentic old neighborhood, there are many restaurants around, there is a place to park. It was from Huanglong when he entered the ancient city that Gaode Navigation guided a trail that could only pass a car, and it was a bit scary.
