Taking advantage of the fewer crowds before the May Day holiday, we planned our trip to Zhonglu ******* Village and found this guesthouse to be incredibly comfortable. We arrived from Chengdu in the evening, and the owner was very welcoming and arranged our accommodations perfectly. The third floor of the guesthouse has a spacious viewing platform where you can enjoy a whole expanse of starry sky all to yourself; the fourth floor faces Mount Mordo directly, offering a superb view! We were well taken care of as a group of two; the owner proactively asked about our needs and even recommended we try the local butter tea at breakfast. We stayed with friends at this wonderful hotel and were satisfied! The rooms are cozy, clean, there is a stunning view of nature around, and the price is very pleasant. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a traditional style, which allows you to feel immersed in the local culture. In addition, the hosts are an incredibly friendly family that creates a truly homely atmosphere. They are very nice, cook delicious food and apples grow in their garden, which they treat the guests with! The owners are also very responsive - when I forgot the cape, they brought it to me in Danba, while again treating me to delicious fruits. Special thanks for the help with transportation and willingness to help with any questions that arise! If I have the opportunity to return to the neighborhood, I will choose this hotel!

Years later, I will still recall talking with Mr. Yongzhong on the pleasant 360-degree panoramic balcony about their beliefs and their current lives. It was a homestay experience I had never had before.

In the past two years, more and more homestays have sprung up in the village, and the facilities and environment have improved. It's very comfortable to have tea in the courtyard during the day and stroll around the village. Parking is convenient in the courtyard, and the roads up and down the mountain are in good condition. There are no charging stations in the courtyard, but nearby homestays have them (slow charging), so it's easy to get there. The owners are very welcoming, and the food is good. The room we booked was large with a great ceiling, but that's also the problem. The room only had air conditioning for heating, and even with the air conditioning on early, the room was still very cold. There was an electric blanket for sleeping, though. Everything else was quite nice.

The proprietress is a young lady. The service is warm and thoughtful. The room is clean and tidy. The overall style is *******. The surrounding environment is good. It is OK to take photos and check in. There is also a watchtower to visit. I woke up in the morning and the sky cleared up after the rain, feeling refreshed! I also drank milk tea and ate wolf tooth potatoes. I will definitely stay a few more days next time. It is highly recommended!

The hotel has seen its better days. Booked window facing river which is good view. ACU works fine but internet connections can be much better. 250 m away from the main road. Restaurants nearby. Hotel can arrange shared transport to ur next destination. There are plenty hotels here. Pick yr choice within yr budget. Hotel with elevator lift.

Ladies, if you're visiting Jiaju, I highly recommend this B&B! My friend and I were both visiting western Sichuan for the first time. We'd heard about Jiaju and were intrigued. We arrived and saw the distinctive local houses, so we decided to stay the night on a whim. There are so many B&Bs in this area, and my friend and I both thought the name of Banshan Yunju was unique, so we chose it! I felt so lucky for our first time. The owner was so warm and genuine! We were just hungry, so we ordered a few random dishes, but the flavors were surprisingly good! My friend and I were both incredibly full. The owner even made his own wontons, which were thin and filling—super delicious! We were lucky enough to even try the hidden menu (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵). We stayed in an upstairs room with a view. It was spotless! The bed was huge and comfortable! The local lady even called us ”Little Rams”! We woke up early and watched the sun rise over Golden Mountain. We were even lucky enough to see a rainbow during a sun shower! It was my first time getting so close to a rainbow, and I finally experienced the beauty of the misty mountains and the enchanting rain. After living in the city for too long, it's truly wonderful to return to nature. The feeling of relaxation truly made me forget all my fatigue! The owner's cat had just given birth, and they were so adorable! The owner even let me pet them! We were out in the sun this afternoon, and the owner's dog, Wangcai, was right there with us. He was incredibly affectionate and asked to be petted. 🥰🥰🥰 The owner even cut a small watermelon for my friend and me, so we could pet the dog while we basked in the sun and ate some watermelon. The weather was perfect, and the temperature was so comfortable. I'm thinking of bringing my family along for a summer vacation. I'd love to live this kind of paradise forever. 🥹 After dinner, I wandered around in the evening and saw the owner's little flower shed with lights. It was absolutely beautiful and photogenic! My friend and I took tons of photos together... The owner also took tons of photos of us, and he wasn't impatient at all. He even gave us pointers on how to take the best photos. This is the first time I've ever encountered such a kind owner in a B&B! This is the first time I've written such a long review. The owner looks so young, almost my dad's age. Time seems to slow down every day in such a beautiful place. This is also a ”windy place.” It was a truly worthwhile trip. I wish the boss good health and prosperous business!

The Jipo Shangmo Hotel in Danba is a tastefully decorated establishment that seamlessly blends ******* and modern design elements. It's immediately clear that the owner has poured their heart into running it. Speaking of facilities, the hotel features a charming courtyard. It's beautifully elegant, brimming with fresh flowers and succulents, creating an enchanting and tranquil environment perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Adding to its unique charm, the courtyard houses an ancient watchtower alongside a Tibetan-style building, giving the hotel a profound sense of history and cultural heritage. The hotel offers two room styles: one is traditionally *******, rich in local aesthetics, and the other is modern, sleek, and contemporary. Our modern room was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also featured a balcony. What truly excited us was witnessing a wild pheasant and its chicks strolling on the balcony late one night – a truly unforgettable moment! I must also commend the hotel's kitchen; it's incredibly spacious and, more importantly, impeccably clean and tidy. I even felt compelled to take a photo! On the service front, the owner's family was incredibly warm and hospitable, providing impeccable service. We arrived at 9:40 PM last night, and the owner was already waiting for us at the entrance, helped us park, and even kindly upgraded both of our rooms. Despite our late arrival, the owner's wife prepared a delicious meal for us. Her cooking was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced – truly great value for money! Today at lunch, she even specially made us a complimentary bowl of spicy noodles. It was not only free but also incredibly delicious; we finished every last bite! In summary, our entire family was exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Jipo Shangmo Hotel. Should we have the opportunity to visit Danba County again, we would undoubtedly choose this hotel once more.

We had the most pleasant stay here. The guesthouse was a little hard to find in the dark, so the owner came outside to the parking to pick us up and even carried my bag. He was very welcoming, considerate and helpful during our stay. We had everything we needed, the room was beautifully decorated and clean. The provided traditional breakfast was outstanding (corn bread, rice porridge, cooked eggplant, cucumber salad and sour cabbage)! Most of the ingredients come fresh out of the garden. There is also a menu with many other delicious dishes that you can order for lunch and dinner. When we left, the owner organized the transport for us back to Danba and took us to the ”station”. We highly recommend staying in this wonderful guesthouse and gorgeous little town Jiaju!

The room was exceptionally clean, and the hostess kept it immaculately organized. The appliances were all new and easy to use. The entire building was constructed in the traditional ******* style, preserving the original character of the old building. At the same time, the interior design meets modern living needs. For those seeking a traditional ******* experience, this is the place to go! The B&B is perfectly situated, nestled in the upper part of the village, right next to the watchtowers and temple. In the mornings, standing on the rooftop and gazing out over the surrounding landscape, the ******* houses dotted around the surrounding mountains create a picturesque scene! The host and his wife are incredibly welcoming. Staying here allows you to experience the warmth and joy of a ******* family. Part of the meaning of travel is experiencing local customs and people. This B&B left a lasting impression on me!
