The host of this accomodation is what makes this place extra special! She was very attentive to any enquiry that we had and was super sweet! The house is in the traditional style so is a little noisy when moving around at night, the beds are hard but clean and the shower is hot with good pressure, plus the location is directly opposite from the entrance to Basha village so it is very convenient! She helped us to arrange a very good price for a driver to take our family to Congjiang railway station on departure and boiled us some eggs for breakfast as the driver came early and we didn’t have time eat.

"The inn was renovated from an old wooden house. The scenery outside the house is first-rate. You can see the beautiful sunrise and sea of clouds from the window in the early morning. You need slippers when entering the house. The whole house is very clean. The bathroom is slightly small but does not affect the use. The house is equipped with air conditioning and the decoration is very warm. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and introduces the most beautiful scenic spots in Guzhai. The little kitten at home is extremely cute. It is inevitable that there will be some mosquitoes in the ancient houses in the mountains. "It's a pretty good B&B in the local area. The main location is good, very close to attractions No. 5 and No. 6, and there is a rooftop for stargazing. The room facilities are all there. The boss was very nice and gave us some glutinous rice wine. It tastes great when it's iced. Especially suitable for girls who can't drink much. The inn has vegetables, melons and rice grown with mountain spring water. My picky eater can eat two bowls of rice in one meal. On the return trip, we bought dozens of kilograms of rice to take back to Guangdong to eat. All in all, the trip to Jiabang Rice Terraces was perfect. I would recommend it to friends for food and accommodation.
Note: The local chili peppers are spicy and delicious. Friends who don’t like spicy food or eat a little spicy food must make it clear in advance. If you don’t pay attention to it, you will eat more bowls of rice😀😀😀

It was dark when I arrived, and they went out to meet me on the road in front of the hotel. The hotel has just opened, all the facilities and equipment are new and the health is very good! They took the initiative to ask if the room arrangement was satisfactory, and I chose the room at will. The scenery is pleasant, transportation is convenient, and there are restaurants nearby. The inn owner is very hospitable and good at taking pictures. The scenic area shuttle bus stopped running, but we put down our luggage and walked downhill all the way to the No. 3 viewing platform, and then returned. When we went back, the landlady's native chicken was already cooked, and the fried vegetables were also very tasty. Since we are here, we should make the best of it. As long as we are not working, we are happy anywhere. When we open the window, we are in nature, which is very healing. The landlady is a very straightforward person, with quick hands and feet, clean bedding, and the rain is very strong, so we don't have any bad feelings.

The property is right by the train station, which is what I was looking for to be able to catch an early morning train.
In terms of location it really depends what you are looking for, surely there's not much to do around and it felt like being in a very remote authentic village, so it's a nice experience but if you have a car it's definitely a plus.
The owner doesn't speak English but he's been very nice and accommodating.
The room is simple with squat toilet but it has everything and it's absolutely clean and comfortable.
