"Jiabang rice terraces are so beautiful and this homestay has a great location with a lovely view. My room was so cute, I loved how it was decorated and the hanging egg chair. It is located in the village. I loved my stay and the best thing was the homestay boss. He was very helpful and very kind! Very patient with my non-fluent Chinese. He gave great food recommendations and always brought something extra! He even helped me glue my broken shoe back together. It was a very heart-warming experience!"

"The hotel has just opened, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The rooms are fully automated, and you can see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening – absolutely stunning! The room rate is reasonable, and breakfast is included. The local rice noodles for breakfast are incredibly delicious. There's also a convenient dining area on the first floor of the hotel in the evening. Their sweet rice wine, rice paddy fish, and fragrant pork are all particularly delicious and local specialties, especially their sour soup fish. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay; the owners were very welcoming, and I'll definitely come back next time."

"The best decision we made on this trip to Jiabang Rice Terraces was choosing this smart guesthouse! The whole house has voice control, which is perfect for lazy people. Most importantly, lying in bed, you feel instantly enveloped by the lush greenery of the rice terraces, watching the sea of ​​clouds surge in the morning and the sunset glow like gold in the evening. The smart toilet and constant-temperature hot water are also thoughtful details. The owner even cooks for us personally, and I have to say, the food was the most enjoyable we've had during our trip. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Jiabang Rice Terraces!"

"Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6. However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests. It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵"
