GGuest UserWhat a find, if you are ever going to El Nido I would 100% recommend booking this gem. It’s out of town so you get to leave the craziness behind and relax in your haven. It’s only 2kms from Lio beach a must to visit far more relaxed than El Nido. El Nido town is only 5km away. It has its own pool which is outside but inside the house, you have to see it to believe it. Honestly if this is available when you are looking at dates do not miss out hit that book now button. I didn’t want to leave.
DDTurayWe made a rookie mistake on the way to the resort—ended up in Port Barton (town) instead of San Vicente. After a long drive and coming straight from a Shanghai trip, we were exhausted and decided to cancel and book another hotel in PB last minute. That hotel wasn’t great, but we just needed rest.
We reached out to the resort to ask if a refund was possible, and the owner personally called back. Instead of turning us away, he offered to cancel just Day 1 (no refund which was valid) and he offered to pick us up from our hotel the next morning—nearly a two‑hour drive. That level of customer service was next level.
It turned out to be the best decision. BAIA was amazing, peaceful, and the restaurant menu deserves a special mention. I’m a chef in London, and I can honestly say the food was amazing. My only small feedback is to add a bedside table in the room, but everything else was spot on.
Highly recommended—I’ve already told friends and colleagues visiting the Philippines to check this place out.
IIren_irinka_Upon arrival, we found out that the Ricardo Hotel was fully booked, so we had to stay in a half-empty building next door.
Overall, the room wasn't bad. It had a balcony and hot water. However, there was no shower kit provided. The room description mentioned a hairdryer, but there wasn't one at all. The sink drained very slowly! On our last day, there was no water in the toilet. Tom, a staff member, was very helpful and tried his best to assist us with everything we asked for. Big thanks to him 🙏.
And that rooster crowing at midnight – that's a special kind of crazy! 😂 I think he's ready for the soup pot! 🙈
The hotel's location isn't ideal, but there's a 24-hour McDonald's nearby. Getting from the hotel to the town center and the pier (where boats depart for tours) costs 50-60 Philippine pesos for two people on a tricycle.
The hotel staff booked a tricycle transfer for us to the pier in the morning, for our boat to El Nido. However, the driver quoted an excessively high price, comparable to what we paid for a minivan from the airport. Considering it's not a long ride at all, it was quite unpleasant.
All in all, it's livable, especially considering the cost. We booked our stay not long before check-in, so we didn't have many other options.
AAko Si Ranthe food served were delicious, the place is nice . its just that theres no slippers available inside the room but the staff shes kind enough to lend hers. Theres a lot of mosquitos inside the room i could not sleep because i worry about getting dengue. the headboard is dusty. good thing their staff were really nice i hope theyll improve more esp the aspect of mosquitos getting inside the room
MmarauderVery friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurants nearby. Big grocery store is just in front of Micasa. The rooftop view where we our bfast is so relaxing. ocean view on one side and the the mountains on the other side. highly recommend👍
__itssmerikaMy stay was fair overall. I called ahead to ask about airport transfers and was told they were not included, but when I arrived I found out the hotel actually offers free transfers, which was confusing. I also asked if they could drop us off at another hotel on our last day and the front desk agreed, but when it was time for the transfer we were asked to pay 100 for gas, which was unexpected. The place was also a bit loud during the day due to nearby construction. Overall, the stay was okay, but clearer communication would have made the experience better.
MMax777The location was great if you're looking to be by the beach or to go on the underground river cruise. The ladies at the reception are very kind and helped us book the tour. If you're looking for a budget stay, it's not bad except for the doors which have a gap thay can let in some fancy creepy crawlers. The ac worked and the washroom was just alright. Don't expect much, remember you get what you pay for.
MMikhail IudinОтель идеальный для того, чтобы посетить экскурсию в подземную реку, мангровый лес и зиплайн. Хозяева отеля везде помогли - огромное им спасибо.
GGuest UserThe hotel is part of the eco hotel they have the same reception. Not expecting a great comfort and cleanness but against nothing to reiterate on the location, it is on the beach it is very pleasant to wake up and to be able to go to bath by walking there. The location is very good, quiet and beautiful, I've preferred El nido center which is very noisy. I work in Manila, I would return on a weekend because he is doing the business for the price and, frankly, you don't stay in his room with a similar frame 😉. I can recommend the elnidon dean travel and tours agency that is on the parking of scooters, Danica organized a private tour for the D tour for my mother's anniversary 👌
