"Very pleasant stay, great buffet though we missed day 2 due to very early flight. However, we were allowed to take from the buffet a few minutes before it opened. We loved the outside access and the garden view from our room. The separate toilet, wash area and shower areas made for efficiency and saved time as we can use them simultaneously. Bed , pillows, were great! The front desk girl though, can smile more, and speak a bit louder. She forgot to return our IDs but those were sent to our rooms later. Wifi was excellent! Will definitely stay here again next time."

"Honestly, we had the best time at Funny Lion Resort! From the start, everything felt top-notch. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, always ready to help and just really made us feel welcome. There were so many complimentary perks too, which was such a nice surprise. It felt like they really went above and beyond to make the stay special. What I loved the most is that the resort pretty much has everything you need—you seriously don’t have to leave. There are activities, great restaurants, a cozy coffee bar, and more all right there. We didn’t even feel the need to go out and explore because everything we wanted was already in the resort. The whole place has a super relaxing vibe, perfect for just chilling and enjoying the moment. It was such a good escape from the usual busy life. Would 100% go back—and probably will, again and again. Can’t recommend it enough!"

"Location wise very convenient. Just beside the Robinson Place. Service is good, staffs are polite. The AC is not working on our room initially, but the staff immediately transferred us to another room. Cleanliness well maintained. Amenities - Drinking water dispenser available, Water kettle but no coffee or tea. Towel, 3in1 shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided; No toothbrush provided."

"Cleanliness: 9/10 The room was clean, nice, and tidy. The pillows, bedsheets, and blankets smelled freshly laundered, and the floor and furniture were spotless. Cleanliness is highly maintained not just inside the room, but also in the hallways and other public areas. They do housekeeping every day, change the towels regularly, and always make sure your hygiene kit is fully stocked. The only issue I had was on my first day—the room wasn’t prepared according to my request, possibly due to an oversight. I had to be transferred to another room, and while it didn’t smell very pleasant at first, it was still clean overall. Location: 10/10 If you're looking for a peaceful place with a great view but still not too far from the city center, this is perfect! It’s not far from the airport and is surrounded by restaurants, drugstores are near, small stores for cheap things to buy, nearby malls, and groceries—but then the area isn’t crowded. It strikes a great balance between convenience and tranquility. Btw, if you are just travelling for leisure (DIY),renting a motor to go around is much cheaper than getting a tricycle Service: 10/10 I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days, traveling alone. The staff made me feel really comfortable and were always ready to help with anything I needed—from check-in to check-out. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Filipino hospitality was truly evident here (Im a Filipino). Special shoutout to the restaurant staff who served breakfast and other meals—they were always smiling, friendly, and attentive. Amenities: 10/10 Everything was in excellent condition and worked perfectly. I especially appreciated the free airport shuttle—it was very helpful and convenient. Since I was also attending to some paperwork during my stay, I was happy to be able to relax and enjoy the amenities in between. Definitely worth the price. I’ll surely come back!"

"This is our first trip in Palawan with family. We stayed here for three days and two nights. The location is too far from the city we always rent a tricycle which cost 100 pesos one way and maximum of 4 passengers but we had a beautiful stay here. The rooms are affordable and very clean. We had a free breakfast and this was well presented and plenty of choice. The people are very kind and friendly."

"The beach view is definitely amazing that was the only reason I think why Microtel excel from different hotel in palawan. The facilities is very old, rooms are dark, the aircon is very loud and noisy same with the exhaust fan in the comfort room which is very disturbing. I hope management will take a look in the renovation of the property, the view and excellent and having a good facilities will complement it. Also, the hotel concessionaire is really not good, menus for breakfast is only limited and yet not all are available, only few menus and choices. ”CANTINA” Please improve your services is too bad."
