"The stay is comfortable, and it’s near the airport. It’s a bit further from the city (1h 35m by train+bus). The accommodation was clean and spacious. There’s lots of great restaurants around. I personally liked the surrounding area as it’s quiet and peaceful, great for walking. There’s a washer in the room but it doesn’t work the best in terms of drying the clothes. Theres also a coin laundry available on the third floor of the building. There’s gym in the second building. The reception is on the second floor. The AC is central and during warm days it can take some time to cool. The bed is on a platform through the stairs. It can be uncomfortable at first as it’s very close to the ceiling. There’s a full kitchen with electric stove but no utensils or cutleries are provided. Room cleaning is every 3 days."

A stay at UH Suite The Coex places you in the heart of Seoul, within a 15-minute walk of COEX Convention and Exhibition Center and Starfield COEX Mall. This hotel is 2.8 mi (4.4 km) from Lotte World and 6.4 mi (10.3 km) from Myeongdong Street. Make use of convenient amenities, which include concierge services and a reception hall. Quench your thirst with your favorite drink at the bar/lounge. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Treat yourself to a stay in one of the 41 guestrooms, featuring indoor private hot tubs and heated floors. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Conveniences include separate sitting areas and microwaves, and housekeeping is provided on request.

"When we checked in to our room, we found an old slipper under the bed that the housekeeper didnt clean from the last guest's stay. The room has no place to put the luggages. We has to clear the coffee table to put our luggage. The spa tub/pool is fairly takes up quite a lot of space. We barely used it. If you want to use bath bombs, you must use the hotel's bath bomb (buy separately). But the noise from the tub draining (even if its other floors) is super loud so they dont let you use the tub after 11pm. The layout of the room is super weird. The ”shower room” and ”toilet room” is opposite each other. A bit inconvenient, especially for ladies. The shower also leaks out so the floor gets super wet (even with a towel). The door also doesnt have an additional lock and no peep hole to check who is outside if anyone knocks which can be quite dangerous as no keycard is required to go up the elevator. The door is also quite thin and you can hear the room next door. You could also hear cars that drive by. The tv in the room when we tried to turn up the volume to the loudest (34) still barely had any sound. The hotel staff tried to fix it but failed. Also the room doesnt have any phone so you need to add their kakao/whatsapp/wechat to contact hotel staff which is also quite inconvenient. The light configuration in the room is also quite awkward. Only hotel that can accommodate 3~4 pax in the same room. But definitely wouldnt choose this hotel again if I dont need to."

Amazing
JJiamaojunsimayiThe room was excellent. I was greeted by staff right from check-in, and they were very friendly. They had even sent an email beforehand to arrange a lovely welcome gift. I also purchased breakfast, and the desserts on the first floor were incredibly delicious – truly deserving of their reputation as the best French pastries! The toiletries were also great. My stay was super enjoyable, and I'll definitely book again next time. The toiletries shop on the first floor was also a great deal with lots of freebies. Overall, a very satisfying trip!

JJiudianshoucangjiaJackThis hotel was great in every aspect. The lighting, air conditioning, and other features in the room were all controlled by a smart pad next to the bed, which was pretty cool. The hotel's location is excellent; it's right next to Lotte Department Store, and Myeongdong shopping street is also nearby. Deoksugung Palace is across the street, so you can walk there, and Gyeongbokgung Palace isn't too far either, about 1km away, also within walking distance. A heads-up: Korean hotels typically don't provide complimentary toothbrushes. They're usually found in the paid minibar area and cost an additional 1100 won, which is quite different from what you'd find in China.

Aalis_hanaThis hotel is quite close to Olympic Hall and KSPO Dome, and you can definitely walk there, especially since it's in Seoul's tallest building, visible right from the venue. However, the value for money is a bit low; for the same price, I'd recommend Josun Palace. The hotel opened in 2017, but the facilities already feel dated. The view from the top floor isn't as visually appealing as Josun's either. Plus, because of its tower structure, the elevator lobby reminds me of high-rise offices in Shanghai's Pudong. The room type I booked included lounge access, but the offerings there were far inferior to those at the JW Marriott Seoul. On the bright side, it's very convenient to Lotte World below. There's also a street with food and pub options nearby that's bustling with locals even late at night, a walkable but not strictly necessary distance. Unless I need to attend another concert in the vicinity, I probably won't stay here again.

WWolfgang_JoThe Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences delivers a generally good stay. The rooms are a comfortable size, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully appointed, making it easy to unwind after a busy day in the city. The fitness center and pool area exceed expectations—spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. However, there are a few drawbacks that can impact your experience. Weekend breakfast service is limited to just three fixed time slots (6:30, 8:00, and 9:30 AM). Arriving at 9:00 AM means a 30-minute wait, which feels frustrating compared to hotels that offer rolling buffet times or extra seating. Similarly, the pool requires reservations for certain time windows, and children under 16 aren’t permitted in the locker or changing rooms. This policy makes it awkward for a parent and child—while you can change, your daughter cannot, which seems poorly thought out. Overall, the Sofitel Ambassador offers top-tier accommodations and amenities, but its rigid scheduling and family-unfriendly pool policies detract slightly from an otherwise wonderful hotel.

KKit YingI had an incredible stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. The service was exceptional, with a special mention to Jenna, I met the first day with 6 hours flight delay who went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. The housekeeping team was equally outstanding, ensuring my room was always spotless and adding thoughtful touches that enhanced my stay (Thank you for the yummy chocolate pastries and eye masks). The hotel’s facilities, location, and overall atmosphere were flawless, truly embodying luxury and comfort.  The only minor downside was the mattress, which was a bit softer than I prefer. However, this didn’t detract from the amazing experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Seoul!   Also no worries about restaurants there, many restaurants you can see nearby. The BBQ restaurant opposite the hotel is absolutely amazing! The two ladies there are incredibly friendly and especially attentive to children. The Korean beef and pork are truly delicious, and the kimchi, along with the slightly spicy mushroom soup, is fantastic. It’s even better than the Michelin one-star BBQ beef restaurant I visited the next day in Gangnam.

LLuy!The hotel is conveniently located near Hyundai Department Store, within walking distance, but the surrounding area is quite quiet. The room I stayed in was very spacious, which is rare for Seoul, offering plenty of room to move around without feeling cramped at all. However, the washbasin was poorly designed and felt narrow even for one person, with no space to put toiletries or personal items, which was a bad experience. For three consecutive mornings, glass cleaning started on the building exterior around 8 AM. The construction noise was disruptive to sleep.

BBingqilinglilyOverall, I was very satisfied with the hotel! First, the **location is superb**. It's right outside Hoehyeon Station, next to Shinsegae Department Store, and just a short walk (a few hundred meters) to the Myeongdong shopping district. Second, the **service was impeccable**. The security guard at the entrance warmly greeted us and helped with our luggage. Check-in is on the 8th floor, which felt quite grand, and the staff were very attentive. Last but not least, the **hotel facilities are top-notch**. The decor is a charming European vintage style. Our room was clean and well soundproofed. The double room came fully equipped with both a bathtub and shower, an electric bidet toilet, a coffee machine, and a mini-fridge. A quick heads-up: the hotel **doesn't provide any toiletries**, so you'll definitely need to bring your own!

NNccs2004I stayed here for a night out in Seoul with a close friends from high school, and his wife meeting up in Asia. As always, when staying at the Grand Hyatt, you end up not having a “night out” but rather a “night in” because the amenities at the hotel are spectacular. The live band in the lobby bar, the pool turned into the Girbaud ice skating rink, amazingly cooked steakhouse, the indoor pool, etc etc. We had a great night, and once again, when staying at any Grand Hyatt, you never know who you’ll run into. On this occasion, we had run into solo artist/actor Mr Henry Lau, also from Super Junior, and was he was not only kind enough to take a quick photo with my friend’s wife, but I messed up the photo—and after learning I had bumbled the photo during her opportunity to meet one of her k-pop idols—was willing to take another entire series of photos. The staff ended up helping me with a medical emergency in the middle of the night and stayed very calm during the entire process. Which I will also report to the company directly. When traveling to Korea—Seoul, Jeju, etc. and anywhere abroad I often stay at the Grand Hyatt in the King Corner Suite. Such a beautiful room, but on this occasion it was just a normal King River view on 9F. A bit small for 3 people, but they made a sofa bed for me while I gave the couple the bed since I only grabbed the room for us (me) for a few hours before I head back to Wuhan—allowing my friends to enjoy the hotel to themselves after I departed. Easy checkout process for them. It was very nice. Will definitely be back. Grand Hyatt <3 !

GGuest UserJW is 5 star because of excellent assistance and service from the Conceirge to bellboy! Oliver recommended and assisted us to book a nice dinner venue for my family at Seokparang. He even initiated to assist me in booking a cab. Mason helped us with the luggage. He even took initiative to ask us for our airport transfer car plate number so he can keep a lookout for us. He even initiated to ask us to sit inside the hotel lobby while he kept a lookout for us. As he understood we are rushing to catch the flight, he even helped us to translate to the cab uncle to hurry for us. All of them speak fluent English, are very warm hearted and takes initiative in offering excellent service with genuine smiles. Our hearts are deeply grateful to them. 5 star 🌟 because of them. 4 star for the rooms don’t have Netflix. It would be great if the family can gather over Netflix entertainment. Small issue though as the service more than cover up for everything! :) We were offered a nice river view which was romantic! Very clean hotel. Location is excellent as train station and direct bus airport limousine is just by the hotel. Great connectivity. Will definitely revisit this hotel again.

JjayvernPros : - great location : near market, restaurant and convenient shops , near train and bus station. - very comfortable bed and pillow. The pillow is so comfortable I wish I can buy it to bring home. - very big bath tub(onsen). - amenities provided : shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, hairdryer (Dyson), bath herbal soak, toothbrush - love the freebies provided like makgeolli and Korean traditional sweet. Cons : - late checkin time (4pm), they don't even have a luggage storage area if you reach early. - all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. You need to carry the luggage yourself, there is no staff to help. Initially we were assigned to a room on 4th floor. We requested to change to a lower room because we (both girls) can't carry our big luggage up 😅 - there is only one water outlet to fill up the bathtub. It takes forever to fill up the tub, so we only manage to soak our legs. There is no curtain to cover the bathtub, so when you fill up with hot water the whole room will be covered with the hot air making everything 'wet'. Love the concept of the big tub but it's just not practical. - they only provide new towels and bath amenities when doing room cleaning. They didn't even make up the bed.
