From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a small army of friendly and attentive staff eager to assist. Their warmth and professionalism set the tone for an excellent stay. Check-in was a breeze, though it’s worth noting it happens on the 6th floor instead of the ground floor. Once you’re checked in, you’ll need to hop on another elevator to reach your room. While this might sound inconvenient, it’s surprisingly smooth. With six elevators in service, I never waited more than 1–2 minutes, so no big deal there!
Now, onto the room: wow. It was immaculately clean, spacious, and oozed luxury. The bathroom? Gorgeous, featuring Diptyque products that scream sophistication (though I have to admit, the scent wasn’t my favorite). One heads-up: the hotel only provides soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Essentials like toothbrushes and toothpaste are not included, so pack accordingly or be prepared to shell out 1,000–2,000 won at the hotel.
The location is a total win. It’s an easy stroll to public transportation, malls, countless restaurants, a park, and even an amusement park. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, everything you need is at your fingertips. I’d happily stay here again.
Now, for my only gripe: I booked the luxury king room with a “city view.” Unfortunately, “city view” turned out to be a massive building right in front of my window. Not only was the view nonexistent, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that the neighbors across the way might be able to see me if they tried. Definitely not the skyline I was hoping for.
If you are going to drive or take a cab, prepare to sit in the traffic for more than 30 min even though it is 5 min away since it’s very busy area.
Still, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d recommend this hotel despite the less-than-stellar view!

The most amazing hotel me and my wife stayed at during the last part of our trip. It was so perfect and relaxing we didnt want to leave the room. Everything including a laundry machine that was also a dryer in our room. The bidet toilet was magical. the location to youngsan station made it so easy for us to explore the city and return to our hotel with ease. The connecting casino and ipark mall was also amazing.

- view of the City Hall from my room was great
- my room didn't have enough space to open luggage bags on the floor unless you move away the heavy chairs
There was just one thing I couldn't understand. I arrived at the hotel at about 2.50pm. They told me that check in time is 3pm. So I thought maybe we can do the registration first, but get the keys at 3pm, which is what other hotels do when I've arrived earlier than the check in time. But I was told that they can only start processing the registration at 3pm.
As we checked out on NYE, the hotel was fully booked, so they were not able to allow us late check out even by an hour. But this, I can understand.

Generally, we were happy with our 4 nights' stay at the hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful.
It is extremely convenient to access restaurants and cafeteria. Lotte shopping mall is just beside the hotel.
Just cross over the road and would be able to find Olive Young shop.
The only downside is, quite distant from the town area such as Myeongdong.
But with a merely less than 5-minute walk to the Mrt Station, it is still considered convenient for us in terms of transportation.

The location of this hotel is the beat. It is just outside exit 9 of Myeongdong station. The airport bus station is also just outside the hotel. The day tours pick up points are also just outside the hotel. There are cafes for breakfast. Myeongdong Night Market is next door. The room is clean and the service is good.

The location of this hotel is perfect! The room was very clean and we enjoyed having a bath! I would say the room was a little small but we managed. The selection of tea bags was a little poor, it could do with adding a variety of tea, sugar … The gym was small but good and clean. There is a useful room that has a microwave, washing machines and a water and ice machine on floor 4.

I stayed here for a night out in Seoul with a close friends from high school, and his wife meeting up in Asia. As always, when staying at the Grand Hyatt, you end up not having a “night out” but rather a “night in” because the amenities at the hotel are spectacular. The live band in the lobby bar, the pool turned into the Girbaud ice skating rink, amazingly cooked steakhouse, the indoor pool, etc etc. We had a great night, and once again, when staying at any Grand Hyatt, you never know who you’ll run into. On this occasion, we had run into solo artist/actor Mr Henry Lau, also from Super Junior, and was he was not only kind enough to take a quick photo with my friend’s wife, but I messed up the photo—and after learning I had bumbled the photo during her opportunity to meet one of her k-pop idols—was willing to take another entire series of photos.
The staff ended up helping me with a medical emergency in the middle of the night and stayed very calm during the entire process. Which I will also report to the company directly.
When traveling to Korea—Seoul, Jeju, etc. and anywhere abroad I often stay at the Grand Hyatt in the King Corner Suite. Such a beautiful room, but on this occasion it was just a normal King River view on 9F. A bit small for 3 people, but they made a sofa bed for me while I gave the couple the bed since I only grabbed the room for us (me) for a few hours before I head back to Wuhan—allowing my friends to enjoy the hotel to themselves after I departed. Easy checkout process for them. It was very nice.
Will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located with easy access to Itaewon-dong neighborhood and a short taxi drive from the city centre.
The rooms aren’t too big but they are clean, modern and comfortable.
The swimming pool, spa and gym are nice although you only get one “complimentary” access during your stay, which is not great for a 5 star hotel.
Staff were very helpful and nice, they were very good with us.

Recommended for first time visit Seoul, the location of the hotel connects to multi subway line, and bus stop. Near convenient store, E-Mart, 24hrs.
Room is clean and its space is perfect for 2people staying together. Toilet machine and bathroom is separated and they provide body wash and shampoo, towels please don’t forget to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste or cotton buds for yourself.

The place was really cool, the food were very delicious, rooms were very great although the standard room was not super spacious, but the view was really beautiful. The location is really near the mall and lotte world. It’s really easy to find anything here. Will come back here again for sure.

It was difficult getting a table for breakfast for four of us when two didn’t want to be eat. Also, they may not check you out if the silly rooms keys they have are left in your room. Overall, a good place to stay.

DDashakI would like to take a moment to express my appreciation for the consistently warm and welcoming atmosphere I experience each time I visit your hotel. The staff, in particular, has always made a positive impression, offering an exceptional level of service that truly enhances my stay.
However, I would like to bring to attention a concern that I encountered during my most recent visit. While the majority of the team exhibits exemplary professionalism and courtesy, I did notice that a few individuals seemed to approach their roles with a sense of authority that bordered on rigidity. It appeared that, at times, their position was interpreted as a form of power or entitlement rather than a service-oriented responsibility.
As a guest, I believe that the true role of a hotelier is to serve and assist, regardless of one's title or position. The spirit of hospitality, in my view, lies in creating an environment where guests feel valued and respected, without the presence of any sense of hierarchy or authority overshadowing the experience.

WWaiThe hotel service is very good. The front desk service and welcome are very good. The suite can directly see the Han River. Since you have access to the executive lounge, the quality of the meals inside is very good. The hotel is nearby and connected to the New World Department Store, as well as underground and The subway lines are directly connected, so you don’t have to go out and look for the entrance. The transportation is very convenient. It will be a place that truly reflects the internationalization of Seoul. I will look forward to using it again~

GGuest UserConveniently located next to IFC mall. There is a walkway at L1 that leads you directly to the mall with many high end stores. However, I am not quite happy with their pool. Half of the pool is blocked for play. There are about 20-30 kids there. I doubt they are all hotel guests. The remaining two lanes are ”members only,” and ”laps.” I am not sure what kind of membership you need to be able to swim on the members only lane. That lane is usually not occupied. The lap lane is busy. People jump in and out wihtout notifying the people alreay in the lane. I hit severl people by accident because of the lack of warning. When I asked whether I can use the members only lane. I was told no. Again, I am a paying guest for the hotel. Why can't I use the members only lane? In addition, they have to clean the pool every two hours for 15 minutes (pool is closed during the cleaning). I have never seen a pool that needs cleaning every two hours. Very poor management there.

HHuFantastic hotel experience from check in to check out. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the front office staff with ice cream and water. Process was very smooth with the staff, Joshua was very helpfully with recommending us a place to eat for dinner. The room is pleasant and large, with huge bath and shower in the separate room. The room had thought of all sorts of amenities that was helpful to us (charging cables, unlimited snacks). Check out was smooth and very lovely staff as per usual. Would highly recommend again!

We went as a group of two, and were upgraded from the room we had originally booked to a fairly spacious room!!!
It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable🎵
The only amenity was a toothbrush, so be careful.
The room I stayed in had a hair dryer (VS), shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, plates, cups, wine glasses, and water in the refrigerator.
The bed and sofa were neither too hard nor too soft, which was nice.
The front desk was on B2, so I was able to go in and out freely without having to go past the front desk.
I personally don't like going past the front desk every time, so that was nice.
Also, instead of having an internal line, you can communicate with the hotel staff on LINE if you need something.
The water pressure in the shower was quite weak when I used it while filling the bathtub (in the room) with hot water.
As other reviewers have said, the smell of sewage bothered me, but overall it was clean and comfortable, so I'm glad I stayed there!
