"This hotel is perfect for a layover near the airport. You can take the 205 bus directly from the airport to the hotel. It's made up of four buildings, and I stayed in building 3. The spa is in building 4. There's a park and the beach right in front, and plenty of restaurants behind the hotel. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. They don't provide toothbrushes, but everything else is very smart and modern."

"The room is great. Biggest problem with this place is the central heating. In spring, it's 31 degrees. My first night there was horrible. Even after opening the windows and shutting off the heating since 8pm, by 1am the temperature was still 31 degrees. When I approached the night staff, she said she could offer a standing fan for the night, and inform facilities in the morning. The fan helped but in the morning, the day staff said nothing could be done. I would advise the hotel to strongly consider reviewing the heating as I realise quite a few guests have complained about this in their reviews. Otherwise the hotel is great."

"The rooms were clean and recently renovated. The hotel is high tech with your phone being your room key. Breakfast was included in our stay and although options was limited and simple it was filling enough. Sausage, scrambled eggs and toast. Yoghurt with granola. Salad and cheese. Tea, coffee, juice. Cereal and milk. The staff was friendly and nice with daily housekeeping cleaning the room. The location was excellent with the subway nearby with lots of restaurants nearby. Lots more young locals out and about in this neighbourhood."

Amazing
SsunnyThis hotel is quite old. For a hotel that costs 4-5k a night during peak season, the view from the window is really just average, to be honest. The interior design of the rooms is also very ordinary. My mom even said it's not as good as a 400 RMB/night hotel back home [awkward laugh]. It's supposed to be a hotel with an 'old money' vibe, but apart from the slightly more luxurious lobby design, you really can't see any five-star luxury anywhere else. My stay experience gets 🌟🌟🌟, and the interior design only gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟. However, it's right next to Shilla Duty Free, just a two or three-minute walk away. So, it's convenient for those 'suckers' who want to shop at the duty-free store.

GGuest UserExperience was great, service is excellent but location was a bit far from majority of popular locations. The property isn’t maintain properly and for a hotel that’s only few years old it feels like it’s been in service for at least a decade plus. Would not likely stay here again given there’s plenty of better hotels in this price range or lower.

RRenzhenrenThis hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Overall, it offers great value for money.

AAF2310The location is good, directly opposite of the lake and next to Lotte world mall. To MTR it’s 5-7mins. The front desk staff is not accommodative at all, any request is like „no, we can’t“ attitude. As of the cleanness and amenities, first of all, the shower head did not work properly, the aircon did not work during the first night ( better the second and third) and the tooth brush glass had stains when I checked in ( see photo attached ) Overall, not recommended for luxury stay, but if it’s just a family vacay, why not.

EEdward Tanotopros : 1. secret king room is quite big for seoul standard. the interior design is fun, red and black. motorized curtain. windows can be opened ( i need this feature , i cant stay in a room without ventilation ). 2. there is hoehyeon station subway line blue in front of the hotel, very convenient. 3. gym is a bit small but sufficient for me, i can get free unli water bottle here 4. the smell of this hotel is amazing, loving it. just thinking of it makes me miss this hotel already. 5. the staffs here are very good looking ( k beauty is truly unbeatable ). both female and male staffs. i didnt really remember their name but i remember Ms. Daisy very yeoppoyo. one day i cant remember his name, one of the staff gave me 10 bottles of water. super nice. kamsahamnida. great attention to detail, they gave us notifications like BTS concert and weather forecast. 6. on first night, the staff gave us sparkling water and chocolate, my daughter loving it. such a nice gesture. 7. toiletries Byredo are so awesome, they looked expensive. 8. housekeeping staffs are super fast and efficient. cons : 1. shower pressure for hot water is slightly low, however for cold water is quite good. but for this weather, hot water is much needed. 2. they only provide plastic water bottle in this hotel, not too eco friendly. 3. toothbrush and toothpaste are not free here, you need to pay for it 3,300won. 4. the room lighting plan a bit too dim for me, if it can be brighten up, it would be perfect chef's kiss. the control for lighting with the knobs are a bit confusing at first, but i gotten use to it after couple of times trying

GGuest UserI booked this hotel through a Ctrip group deal, and the price during the May Day holiday was incredibly good. By April, the hotel's public rate was already 3-4 times what I paid! The hotel itself is quite luxurious, located halfway up Nanshan Mountain with a fantastic environment. However, there are too few elevators and they are incredibly slow. During peak hours after breakfast, I waited ten minutes for an elevator – the slowest I've ever experienced at a five-star hotel. The service was generally good. We were supposed to have two adult breakfasts included, but there seemed to be a communication issue between the hotel and Ctrip, as the restaurant only showed one. Ctrip eventually sorted it out, and the front desk, to apologize, even provided a complimentary breakfast for my child. (Though I must say, the restaurant staff weren't particularly enthusiastic.) Also, the kids' play area is only open from 6 AM to 6 PM, which is quite odd, haha. Our room had a city view, and the night scenery was absolutely beautiful.

GGuest UserThis time I traveled to Korea alone to watch a performance. I was a bit hesitant to choose this hotel because it's quite new and there weren't many reviews available. Ultimately, I decided to stay because it was close to the venue. The staff were friendly and could communicate in English. The location is convenient; it takes less than five minutes to get to the subway station. Downstairs, there's a convenience store and a fairly large shopping mall with a big supermarket inside. The room also has international power sockets, which was a huge plus. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the toilet had good water pressure. The only downsides are that it's a bit inconvenient for solo travelers if you return to the hotel late, as there aren't many restaurants nearby where you can dine alone. The bed was a bit hard, and it creaked with even small movements. The pillows were too soft, making it hard to get comfortable. Also, the soundproofing is mediocre; you can hear noises from outside the door quite clearly, so I recommend bringing earplugs. Nevertheless, the overall experience was very good, and I would stay here again if needed.

GGuest UserOverall, the room was decent. It was clean and tidy, and they even had essential oil diffusers going every day, which was a nice touch. Besides the towels, the only other amenities were the toiletries on the wall and the water in the fridge – nothing else. The separate toilet and shower were a huge plus, but the shower itself was incredibly tiny and cramped. I didn't use the outdoor spa tub, so I can't comment on that, but the drain for it made gurgling noises every morning. At check-in, one guy spoke excellent English and another spoke great Chinese. However, at check-out, the English speaker wasn't as good. The guy who spoke good Chinese was incredibly helpful and even assisted with calling a taxi! All in all, it was a pretty good experience, and the surrounding area has convenient transportation.

GGuest UserThe location was great, right behind the station. Having a 7-Eleven right next door and a supermarket nearby was perfect for enjoying tangerines in the jacuzzi. The heating worked well, and the welcome drink being Kooksoondang Makgeolli was a delightful surprise. Although the wish paper and incense burner were gone, traditional games like Yutnori and Gonggi were still available. The amenities included shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothbrushes, and disposable toothpaste. There was also a separate foot towel, and plenty of regular towels (6-8 sheets). The herbal tea bag for the jacuzzi had a lovely subtle scent. My only minor complaints were a nail on top of the bathroom towel, a loose power outlet, and while the portable standing TV was a nice touch, there was no remote control. The soundproofing wasn't great; I could often hear the TV, conversations, laughter, and even what was being discussed from the next room. Also, if you opened the jacuzzi window curtain, you had a clear view into the windows of the villa opposite, so it's probably best to keep it closed. Despite these small issues, it was a charming place, and at this price point, I'd say it's worth coming to enjoy at least once.
