Amazing
LLambert_I stayed at the nhow Hotel Berlin with friends for 6 nights around New Year's. While there were some positive aspects, overall, the experience felt quite inconsistent for a 4-star hotel. The positives: - The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. - Soundproofing between the rooms was good. - The staff was very friendly and welcoming. However, there were numerous issues that detracted from the experience: - Reservation Mix-Up: I had specifically requested two single beds instead of a double bed, but this was not reflected in the room assignment upon arrival. - Missing Amenities: Basic items in a hotel like bathrobes and slippers were missing from the room, and we were told to order them via room service. Unfortunately, the app didn’t work, and no one at the reception answered the phone despite multiple attempts on different days. - Light and Noise Issues: While the rooms were soundproofed well from other rooms, we could hear everything happening in the hallway. Additionally, there was a gap under the door, letting light from the corridor into the room at night, which made it impossible to have complete darkness. - Wellness Area: The wellness area was underwhelming. There was no jacuzzi, only a sauna and a hammam, and the hammam was out of service. The gym locker room lights stopped working after a certain time, and towels were unavailable later in the day. - Misleading Information: A brochure in the room mentioned that phone chargers were available via room service. However, we were told at the reception that these were no longer provided for free and had to be purchased for €20. While the hotel wasn’t bad overall, these recurring small issues added up and left us feeling that the service didn’t meet the expectations for a 4-star establishment. It’s a shame because we did enjoy our stay to some extent, but the lack of attention to detail was disappointing. If I return to Berlin, I won’t rule out staying here again, but I’ll definitely check other options first.

GGuest UserThe Hilton Berlin offers a comfortable stay with a central location, but it’s not without flaws. The rooms feel dated, with an old-school vibe that could use a refresh. The air conditioning works well, a big plus in summer. However, the breakfast is underwhelmin overpriced and not worth trying; you’re better off exploring nearby cafes. Speaking of exploring, step outside and enjoy Berlin’s vibrant scene. The €40 daily parking fee feels steep for the city, and the €14 spa access should be included for the price. Overall, it’s decent but could improve with modern touches and better value.

NNtppstI love everything about this hotel. This is real 5-stars hotel. The services, and the room are very nice. Only one thing I dont like is the hair dryer. If you change the hair dryer, it would be flawless stay.

GGuest UserHonestly, I can't complain. The location is fantastic, right by the subway station. The hygiene is good, and the facilities are complete, even a coffee machine in the room. Self-check-in might be a tiny bit tricky, but there's always someone there to help. Overall, it's excellent.

AAnonymous UserPerfectly located — within easy walking distance to most major sights in Mitte like the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Philharmonic, and Checkpoint Charlie. For places a bit further out, there’s a train station right in front of the hotel, which makes getting around effortless. There’s even a dm grocery store just a minute’s walk away, which was super convenient. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a full set of amenities provided from the start — something surprisingly rare in Europe. Overall, a very comfortable and well-thought-out stay. Highly recommend!

SSaddlerphilGreat hotel to explore Berlin. Close to Alexanderplatz trainstation. The hotel has a luggage room to use if arriving or leaving late, for a small charge. We used this on arrival and departure 👍. The rooms were of a good size and the beds were very comfortable, with the showers having plenty of pressure and hot water. We had breakfast every morning. This was plentiful and varied. Overall I would recommend the hotel to my family and friends.

GGuest UserDissappointing... We come here for more than six years, and it goes seamlessly down. In the evening is the sauna neglected, nobody comes to replenish towels and water cups, not to mention that ”renovation” meant the removal of the fridge, which used to offer free soft drinks and bottled water after the saune. Just two sorts of tea (if you can sustain that four kind of black tea means four sorts of tea...). Nobody controls the sauna temperature anymore, one day it was crispy hot, last time one could fall asleep inside... The rooms cannot be heated, just cooled. If you try to turn air condition off, you can´t, and they need the approval of the building´s owner to change the set temperature for the entire hotel. Last time they offered us a heater, now we had to change room for extra charge. All staff seemed overwhelmed with the complaints, except for apologies there is nothing to get in exchange for the wasted time and money... Room keys don´t always work in the elevator or on the floor. Extra coding for the sauna works every now and then. Staff overwhelmed, room orders come very late or not at all. No coffee sets whatsoever.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel's distinctive aesthetic. The sleek and modern interiors, adorned with carefully curated artwork and tasteful furnishings, create an atmosphere of sophistication and artistic flair. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the striking sculptures to the meticulously designed lighting fixtures. The modern amenities, including a Nespresso machine, a well-stocked minibar, and a state-of-the-art entertainment system, ensured that every comfort was met. The bathrooms, with their luxurious rain showers and premium toiletries, added a touch of indulgence to the overall experience. One of the standout features of this hotel is the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, the staff members demonstrated a genuine commitment to ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Their knowledge of the local area, including restaurant recommendations and transportation tips, was invaluable in helping me make the most of my time in Berlin. Culinary delights await guests at SO/Berlin Das Stue. The hotel's restaurant, Cinco by Paco Pérez, offers an exquisite dining experience, combining Mediterranean and Catalan flavors in innovative ways. The dishes, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors, showcase the culinary expertise of the renowned chef. The hotel's bar, The Stue Bar, is a stylish spot to unwind with a carefully crafted cocktail or a glass of fine wine, accompanied by live music that adds to the vibrant ambiance. For relaxation and rejuvenation, the hotel boasts a serene wellness area, including a spa and a fully equipped fitness center. The spa offers a range of indulgent treatments and therapies, providing a sanctuary of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The fitness center, with its modern equipment and panoramic views, allows guests to maintain their workout routine in style. The location of SO/Berlin Das Stue is ideal for exploring the city. GGuest UserUnfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!
