"I stayed in Berlin for a short weekend as a female solo traveller and got so lucky with this hotel. I was initially apprehensive due to the location but took a leap of faith because of the pictures 😅 and I would stay again! Mind you it was my second time in Berlin so I am familiar with the city, but not this area. The area is a lil sketchy at night but you just need to cross the road from the subway station (which is a main road with loads of people around!) The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, amenities provided in the little kitchenette including teabags, nescafe coffee machine etc. Room was cleaned daily with amenities topped up and front desk staff were nice. Thank you for a lovely stay, would definitely return :)"

"I thought the hotel was excellent value - the room was on the small side and maybe a little cramped for 2 people, but it was totally managable. Everything in the room and bathroom worked well, except the air-conditioning did not get as cold as we like back in the USA. Small USB travel fans at night helped us just fine . The food at the breakfast was excellent, a very large variety and plenty to eat. Great coffee! I would recommend this hotel because the location is great - easy to access transit and you can walk to many museums and attractions in about 20 minutes."

"I really liked the location. Its excellent bus connections made getting to the city center very easy. Having bakeries and shops right nearby was also very convenient.
My requests made in advance, such as for three single beds, were accommodated, which I greatly appreciated.
However, there were also a few downsides. The room's carpet was very stained and looked quite worn. The pictures available online seem to be outdated and don't accurately represent the current state of the room. Another issue was the elevator; it was very narrow and felt a bit unsafe.
The hotel is well-suited for travelers simply looking for a clean bed for the night. The beds were clean, and the linen was changed daily. However, be aware that the rooms are not particularly inviting for longer stays.
Overall, the hotel is a solid choice for a brief, no-frills stay if you're primarily there to sleep and don't expect luxurious amenities."

The staff are helpful and courteous.
Rooms are small but adequate.

"A Mixed Stay Near Hauptbahnhof
We stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be a ok option overall, especially for its convenient location. On the positive side, it’s situated right near the Hauptbahnhof, making it an ideal base for a quick day of exploring the city via public transport. The breakfast staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant morning vibe. While the breakfast selection wasn’t extensive, it covered all the essentials:fresh bread, fruits, cereals, and hot items—to fuel you up for the day ahead.
That said, there were some notable drawbacks that detracted from the experience. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator on the 5th floor, there was a strong, unpleasant plumbing odor coming from the toilet area in the hallway. Unfortunately, this issue persisted in our room (583), where the smell emanated from the bathroom. Even after leaving the window open all day, it lingered upon our return, which was quite off-putting. The hotel was fully booked, according to the receptionist, so we didn’t pursue switching rooms. Additionally, the Hocker near the tea table was heavily worn and tattered, almost as if it had been chewed by a cat for years. The mini-bar was disappointingly empty, with just a single bottle of water provided. Sauna was off at 10:30am.
At €150 per night, this hotel feels overpriced for what it offers— I’d recommend exploring other nearby alternatives for better value and comfort."

"I left after the first night and requested a refund from my booking agent. The carpet in the room was not cleaned when I checked in. The house cleaning person came when we were already in the room and we stepped out for food and she vacuumed. The room smelled like sewage. A young man poured something into the shower drain and sprayed the bathroom with an air freshener to keep down the bad scent. That did not last for more than 20 minutes. I left because a man in the reception area the night I checked in was very rude (Disrespectful) when I tried talking to him. In the end, I booked a room and checked in the next morning at the Hampton By Hilton and I had no regrets. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

DDoreen TeuchertI have stayed several times at this Hilton hotel. The location is great, with plenty of parking all around if you want to avoid the hotel parking charges. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. I always request a courtyard room, as this is more quiet. Breakfast is mainly organic produce, not overly extravagant but enough to not get bored eating the same breakfast every day. The staff is generally very helpful. I do find the receptionists a little abrupt especially when checking in and it seems to be very random who gets a cookie upon check-in.

Walk 7 minutes in one direction and you are at Checkpoint Charlie. Walk 10 mins in the other direction and you are at the Mall of Berlin. Walk 20 mins in another direction and you are in the Museum area of Berlin. Loads of restaurants, supermarkets and stores right next door to the apartment. Wonderful location. Can walk everywhere, plus the subway station is right outside.
Room
Large. Clean. It's a studio apartment, so in one room you will have your bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, wardrobe and TV. Then in another room you will have your kitchen and another room is your bathroom.
Bedroom
Bed is comfortable, but for some reason, despite having a 1 double bed, the duvets supplied were for 2 single beds, rather than one big bed.
Plug sockets near the beds are useful, but they are not VERY near, but close enough.
The room is large and clean.
The TV is small and because of the size of the room, it's almost hard to see. Yes it's on a wheeled table so you can bring it closer to the bed, but the power cord limits the range of movement. It is a Smart TV though so you can cast your android phone to it. Not iOS
There is a balcony area with tables and chairs which is nice.
The AC is wall mounted as if it was a TV. It did cool the room which is surprising as the room is big.
Bathroom
Super clean. Towels and such changed daily. It's a bathtub with a shower combined. And now I am going to be SUPER picky when I say this......do NOT let this impact your decision to stay here or not, but the water pressure is good but not great. But that may be because I like to feel like the water is really shooting at my skin. Also, the shower head holder kept sliding down. Annoying, ever so slightly, but not a deal breaker
Kitchen
So useful. It's a large kitchen with a fridge plus freezer. Induction hob with 2 rings. Sink, dishwasher. Plates, bowls, cups, tea saucers and cups, cutlery, cooking pots, frying pans, utensils for them, cutlery for eating, kitchen knives, tea towels, sieves... all great and all provided. There was one review that said it only offered 1 plate set.... we had several and it was very very useful.
Laundry
The apartment has a laundry room. 3 washing machines, 3 drying units, an ironing board and good steam iron. Even the powder is provided and having a laundry room was super useful. It's on -1 floor of the West side of the building.
Breakfast
The breakfast room, on the 8th floor does have an amazing view, and the room is lovely - everything is white with stone-coloured chairs, super clean... as if designed by Apple
It's a half-buffet style, cereal, pastry, cheese, and cured meats are all help yourself. Eggs, tea and coffee are on request. I didn't like this. The staff are wonderful and very polite and well trained, but, for me, I prefer less interaction and would have preferred a full buffet-style where I can help myself to whatever I wanted without having to ask.
Gym and Sauna
Also on the 8th floor. The gym has wonderful views, there is a seated bike, treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench and some dumbbells. Max weight was 10kg for the dumbbells so really its more of a cardio room.
Service.
We arrived around 11pm, but reception is not open. You have to scan a QR code, fill in all your details, upload a photo of your passport.... then wait after it successfully registers you you can open the doors. Or you can pop into the security office where the guy will hand you a key. Much easier, but you are not explicitly told.
But, the service is good here. Everyone is very polite, very helpful, all speak English. Cannot fault them at all. Just wish the reception was 24 hours
The location is great, the room is large and clean, the laundry room is useful and the gym and breakfast room have great views. It is expensive which is the only hesitant thing about returning here, but it is comparable in price to other similar hotels but here you get a much larger room with a kitchen. Great stay!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city center, and transportation is the biggest plus. The light rail and subway are right in front of the hotel and very close to the city center. The single room I booked was an attic room with a sloping roof and an area of less than 15 square meters. It was a little cramped and depressing when I checked in.
The front desk service is good, professional and enthusiastic. The room price is more than 900 per night. I feel that the price/performance ratio is not high. If I come to Berlin again, I probably won't stay here again.

윰윰라이프Berlin was my first city on my trip to Germany, so the location was perfect, right in the middle of the action. There's a DM Rewe Starbucks right next to the hotel, and Checkpoint Charlie is just a short walk down the street.
It was convenient because you can catch a bus right in front to most tourist destinations.
But if I ever come back to Germany, I wonder if I should stay here again.
I'm hesitant...
The female employee at check-in was so rude, I almost thought she was racist.
There were 5-6 other groups waiting at check-in.
When it was my turn, the female employee, who had always been so friendly and welcoming to the guests before her, completely lost her cool and sighed, saying things like, ”I don't understand what you're saying.”
She didn't even offer that cheesy ”thank you.” Throughout my trip, I've never seen hotel staff treat me this way, not in Austria, Hungary, or Munich. The staff themselves seemed to be from Central or South America, and it was truly astonishing that a major German hotel chain would treat me like this, especially in Germany.
Before my trip, I'd been receiving constant emails from the hotel, thinking they were very attentive, but this was a truly unpleasant experience.
I wonder if I'll be able to go again.

BBolor06I found one thing quite surprising. As this was my first hotel stay in Germany, I'm still getting accustomed to what's usually provided. In hotels in other countries, complimentary toiletries like soap and toothbrushes, along with slippers, are typically provided. This hotel, however, didn't offer them, which was a little unexpected. Is this standard practice across German hotels, or was it just this particular establishment?

MMarius17The accomodation has not the best location but is quiet and tram station is right in front.
Reception services were good and could stay in lobby kitchen before check in time.
The room had oven, fridges, sink and the bathroom and shower is common.
The surprise was that there was also a tv.
The breakfast has not many vegan options as announced but it was quite good and is taken outside where is also garden.
