GGuest UserClean, social and well located EastSeven Hostel is clean, modern and well maintained. There are many young volunteers, and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. Breakfast is available from 6:00 to 10:00, mainly milk and cereals. The hostel has a strong social vibe, with movie nights, drinking games and quiz nights. Many guests go clubbing together. The female dorm stays quiet at night. There are unisex bathroom and female-only bathroom, both with separate shower areas. The rooms are warm, with good heating, bedside lights and a hair dryer available (in the bathroom. ) — very comfortable in Berlin winter. Public transport is close: about a 5-minute walk to the U-Bahn and 10 minutes to bus stops. The airport is around 1 hour away, and Berlin Central Station just over 20 minutes. Tip: during U2 construction near Senefelderplatz, ride one extra stop toward Pankow and change back. Overall, a solid choice if you want a clean, social hostel with easy transport access.

GGuest UserThe location is great, being very close to the MTR station, which is convenient for transportation. However, I experienced some issues during my stay. Firstly, there were unpleasant smells in the bathroom, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that no female rooms were provided. This became a concern for me as there were some uncomfortable encounters with male guests, making it potentially unsafe for solo female travelers. Fortunately, after switching to another room, the situation improved. If you are looking for a hostel in Berlin, I believe there are better options available that would provide a safer and more comfortable stay.

MMysterywandererLovely hostel and enjoyed sharing the room with the guests. Each dorm had its own kitchen and bathroom and it was clean and I felt safe. The bar downstairs is far from the rooms so it’s pretty quiet upstairs. As a guest you get discounts for meals and drinks when you stay at the hostel. The hostel is very close to Rosa-Luxembourg Platz which (right outside the door) which will enable you to take the U Bahn to Alexander platz and other places. The M8 Tram will take you to the Berlin Wall memorial and Berlin HBF and other surrounding areas.

MMarius17The accomodation has not the best location but is quiet and tram station is right in front. Reception services were good and could stay in lobby kitchen before check in time. The room had oven, fridges, sink and the bathroom and shower is common. The surprise was that there was also a tv. The breakfast has not many vegan options as announced but it was quite good and is taken outside where is also garden.

MM831084****The en-suite bathroom with a separate wet and dry area was great for our group of six women. The location is super convenient, with both the tram and S/U-Bahn just a two-minute walk away. The Rewe supermarket is also incredibly close, about a two-minute walk. However, the lockers on the ground floor were broken, so we had to use the -1 level for storage on our checkout day.

There is no kitchen, but there is a water server next to the reception. Other word of mouth said that there was noise, but I didn't feel it. Wasn't there a group of students staying? Maybe luck. It's a large hostel, so I think it would be difficult if the toilet and bathroom were in a far room. This is also luck.

SSmokingwaterIt was good for the price I paid. There was a firealarm twice during my one-week-stay. You can go there, it’s not too bad. I never saw another person in the shared bathroom for instance. The reception is nice but the coffee small for its price. While you can hear in your room everything that is happening in front of it, I never had enough people on my floor to find it too disturbing. It’s a big building. What I really liked was the cozy room, the desk, the arrangement of the light and the sink. I felt at home in the private space.

AAnonymous UserIt was easy to access from tram station, nice staffs. We have to use stairs from 7 to 8 floor, it can be hard. Guest kitchen was honestly messy and not clean, but it is the hostel. There was hair dryer, shower, there were everything that I needed. It was good staying.
