"This is a mini-hotel in the center of Seoul, right by a street with cafes and restaurants, but without any noise. It's about a 10-minute walk from the subway station and 5 minutes to a bus stop. There are many convenience stores nearby, and a wide variety of eateries and coffee shops near the subway for all budgets. They confirmed our arrival time in advance. From what I gathered, the hotel staff is only on-site during the day, until 5 PM. There's a common area on the first floor where you can eat, and an iron is available. There's a washing machine on the rooftop (laundry detergent costs 1000 won). We were put on the 3rd floor. The stairs are steep, but manageable with a suitcase. There's no elevator, but they helped us with our luggage. The building entrance uses an electronic lock. And that's where the positives ended. I understand that for the price per night in a tourist area, I shouldn't have expected luxury. But seeing the room, I was very disappointed. It was clean, but very uncomfortable, unwelcoming, and shabby. The wallpaper was torn in many places, and the walls had stains. In the bathroom, everything was old, rusty in places, and stained. Note that in Asia, it's common not to have shower curtains or partitions between the shower and toilet. We're not used to that, and it was a bit uncomfortable to shower without a curtain. There was a refrigerator in the room that made a terrible noise, so we had to turn it off and not use it. There was also a hairdryer and air conditioning. The worst part was at night when we lay down on the bed. It felt like sleeping on the floor. The mattress was incredibly hard, and the pillows were about 1 cm thick. It didn't feel like you were lying on anything soft at all. Even with how tired I was from walking around Seoul, I couldn't get a good night's sleep any night. The soundproofing was poor. I didn't hear the neighbors much, but what was happening in the hallway was very audible – even quiet conversations, and the opening and closing of doors. Cleaning was every other day. They brought fresh towels and emptied the trash. I also didn't like that there wasn't a 'do not disturb' sign to hang on the door. In conclusion, considering the cost, I would not return here."

"Really love the cleanliness of the rooms and the hospitality given by the employees there. Breakfast was simple yet filling!! The location is really central to two subway stations (myeongdong and euljiro-1). I think clearer instructions could be given for using the washing machines and dryer. The price of it could be slightly lowered if possible."

"This is where I stayed for a night after coming for an away baseball game. It seemed like almost all the other guests were foreigners, except for me. It's about a 15-minute walk from Hongik University Station, and there's a bus stop right nearby, which made getting around convenient. The facilities were generally clean and felt new, and the accommodation was quiet, so I had a good rest. Just a heads-up, although it's a female-only accommodation, a male staff member handled check-ins and front desk duties. It didn't seem like he was permanently stationed there. It didn't bother me much, but I'm mentioning it for those who might consider it important when choosing female-only lodging. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay."

"Great hotel service and in middle of Myeong-dong! Do note the Uber/Taxi apps can’t set pickup point right outside the hotel entrance, you got to walk out to main street, all else is good about the location They offer free beer and nachos or popcorn for the movie room. They went out of the way to find me birthday candles which I forgot to bring and can’t find anywhere in Myeong-dong. The room is great and cool concept except there are no windows. Late check-out is also not tolerated. Check-out after 11:10am is chargeable, I requested a-bit more time and only offered till 11:20am else charges start at 20,000KRW. No toothbrush and toothpaste as well, is sold for 6,500KRW for a pack of 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste. Bring your own!"

"I've stayed in many places in Seoul and Busan, and overall, this one was good, aside from the unique Korean quirks (no elevator, can't flush toilet paper, close proximity of toilet and shower, and ventilation/drainage not as good as Japan's). The twin room was just barely spacious enough for two single beds. The beds were incredibly narrow, about 90 cm wide, like emergency beds in a hospital. People who move around a lot in their sleep or are used to wider beds should be careful; I almost fell off a few times. I wished there were about 10 hangers. There were too few for a twin room. Adjusting the shower temperature required some finessing. During my stay, I had to put trash and used towels out in the hallway myself, but trash bags and towels were adequately replenished. The washing machine and dryer were coin-operated, and the cleaning staff collected payment the next morning. Reviews made it sound like they were freely available, but staff were constantly using them to wash hotel sheets and towels, monopolizing the single washer and dryer. So, it's hard to say they're 'always available.' I confirmed in advance, asking 'What time can I use them? Is there a fee?' before using them. However, I was annoyed that another guest used them during the time I was supposed to. I assume they used them because they were empty (the washer and dryer work even without inserting money), but I wonder if that person actually paid the next morning...? It left a bad taste in my mouth. Anyway, because that person used them, I couldn't use them at the time I had been told by staff and had to wait."
