I didn't eat there so I can't comment, my room was clean and warm (it was only 3°C outside). Staff were friendly and accommodating. They also have a 50% discount for the carpark next door. I have stayed here before and I probably will again.

value for money

Good location, small hot rooms, we were on the top floor, the window opened 5 cm, August -UK Summer. The view of my room was literally a brick wall of the other building. It wasn’t a nice experience, but it you want a no frill bed then the hotel delivered but if you want a hotel experience then seek others. Location of the hotel is near the old Castle market, plenty of homeless and loud people. Wished I remembered to take a picture of the brick wall outside my window.

I am Benny Mok(the register name is WAI-FU MOK), spent three days there at ROOM 211 from 31/7/2022 to 2/8/2022 in summer & I found that all the facilities in the hotel were superb & I was highly satisfied. The only shortcoming was there was a long weird sound when flushing at the bathroom. There might be some problems in the toilet bowl hose. Otherwise than that, I highly recommend this hotel cuz all the staff members at the hotel ARE SUPER FRIENDLY, welcoming, cheerful, caring including the housekeeping ladies ! Last but not least, the receptionist ~KARRA RIPPON. karra was the most patient, helpful, amicable , devoted, loving, thoughtful & caring staff member over there & there is no doubt about that! Would you mind sharing this inspiring message with this excellent receptionist and tell her that the inspiring message was from a HONG KONG IMMIGRANT FAMILY ? Many thanks & I owe you one!

it is a good option

The location of the hotel is good. Although it is a bit far from the gate of the scenic spot, it will only take ten minutes to walk there. The impact of the epidemic is still relatively large, and there are many fewer people than in previous years. I didn't go to the scenic spot this time. I'll leave it to see the red leaves and glaciers in the next autumn. In general, it is still worth recommending.

The room is big, but there is an indescribable bad smell

Very close to Ponds Forge which was really what we needed. We had a family room which was adequate for our needs for two nights. The hotel itself is a little ‘tired’ and the rooms were very warm. This was however overshadowed by the staff who were so lovely. Friendly, helpful and generally cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble and they all were so genuine it was a lovely atmosphere.

For swim meet ponds forge. Convenient hotel for ponds forge swim pool. Twin room lovely and spacious. Staff courteous.

Lovely Hotel, not far from everything, rooms were clean and bright. The fan was already on, so the room was cool.

8 of us stayed here whilst working in the area. Rooms are standard but have everything you need. A few of the team did have mould in their bathroom. The staff here are fantastic, friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Special mention to ‘Ash’ (Best chef)

Spent two nights here and hugely disappointed! Room key change 4 times, noisy, mouldy bathroom, one pillow per person, uncomfortable old beds, and carefree attitudes of staff. ‘Cafe’ was exceptionally noisy and over crowded - not a place to relax or enjoy a meal. The eggs seemed to come from some sort of mixture. Would not recommend especially for the price!

We stayed at the central Travelodge for 3 nights. The welcome on arrival was excellent. We had an assisted room on 3rd floor. The room was cool on a very hot day, as a fan was on. Room clean. Found that drinks tray was lacking tea but asked and instantly got plenty with an apology. The food was great, especially the breakfast and the staff were very helpful, willingly giving iced water to take to our room. Definitely stay again when in the area.
