Service: From the time we checked in to when we checked out, the service we received from different staff members was professional, polite and personable. Our room (942) was spacious, adequately clean, had comfortable beds, a big bathroom and a partial view of the sea, amongst others. It was lovely to have been able to sit by the window with a drink and take in the view while being grateful for the lovely room assigned to us. :) Breakfast: A self-service chicken noodle station was an interesting feature. Although it was self-service, the kind staff at the egg station went out of his way, literally and figuratively, to make me a bowl of yummy noods as soon as he discerned a culinary disaster was in the making courtesy of yours truly! That gesture of kindness, and many others from the rest, made this stay memorable and filled my heart with fondness for this place. BWH will not be a place I'd go to for a time of mall crawls, cafe hopping or even choice eateries. However, it's a place I'd return to for quiet rest, friendly and kind service that uplifts my soul, and maybe to flex my culinary inadequacies. Just changed my mind - I'll leave the culinary portions to the professionals instead. Oh, and do not miss out on the Healing Garden on the 7th floor. It's a lovingly and thoughtfully tendered private garden - one that will put a smile on your face regardless of your age. This is the first time I've been to a pool area that you'd enter after passing caged chickens, rabbits, birds and a garden that grows herbs, fruits, vegetables and flowering plants! ❤️ If you get to meet the brains behind this Eden, Mr Subra, do stop and have a chat with him. You'll be glad you did so. Fun fact - Mr Subra had named most, if not all, of the animals in his garden. Probably even named the arowana on the 5th floor! There you have it - Berjaya Waterfront Hotel - a place of kindness, healing and rest.

Service is good and polite but the hotel look like very old, should be need to do renovation to attract more visitors

Been with this hotel 3 times already. This so far is not the best experience. I ask for a non-smoking room but the toilet has a really strong cigarette smell. The lifts also were defective (July 26-27) but they opted not to assign any personnel to assist the guests to help. The lifts reset every time they open. It loses the floor you pressed so you will just go up and down without reaching your destination. No signage no anything. So you need to figure it out for yourself. The toilet badly needs renovation but the power sockets are the most I like here because they have universal sockets so you don't have to worry you forgot your adapter. Breakfast Is too average, they need to be creative. Coffee & cakes are good as well as the peanuts in the Nasi Lemak section.

Date of stay: 25 June Room number: 1516 Pros: - lovely service especially from security. Very smiley, greeting you etc.. - huge room - decent breakfast - comfy bed - lovely sea view Cons - rooms are very dated through functional - hot water not really hot. - room amenities very basic. - pool was closed for maintenance - there is complementary parking but carpark a distance away from hotel building itself - the hotel is located within a duty free zone so when driving out, will be subjected to security checks, which is a bit of a hassle - many night clubs in the vicinity of the hotel so noise and the crowd may be a problem. May not be the most suitable hotel to stay with children though never felt unsafe

The hotel was not that new and there aircon leakage found in the next morning after the whole night open air conditional.next, the furniture was look old and not that safe outlook.

Service from the staff was good but the room was not in the best condition and even though the location had a great view, it was quite far off from the malls

The hotel is right next to Setulang Seafood Restaurant and very close to the duty-free shop. However, it can be quite noisy at night as you can hear music from the nightclub, which is possibly in the same building as the hotel. The toilet was not very clean. On the bright side, the reception staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. I even got a free room upgrade from city view to sea view, and the room was located right in front of the lift as I had requested.

Location: nice Room: nice  Service: Failed. Why? When i book this hotel i give a remarks about what i needed. 1st the bath tub coz i want to relax on my first night but the tub is t working so need to call maintenance from the reception and i ask them to get back to me but the staff didnt msg me about the condition. So i use it but i try other ways for me to use it i put plastic so that it wont drain apparently it helps me a bit.  In room service: i keep on calling many many many times Dial “0” and “1” and those direct line to order in house food but none of the answering my call. Service no good as in. So we didnt manage to order and dont expect guess to go down to reception and order food. Like whats the use of the phone sia.  Berjaya pls do something about it and check always ur services.  Another things was when i want to check in staff give me room number which there is someone inside the room coz it was lock from the inside. And Trip also post the room different as what the staff want to give me even stafd say Trip.com may put it wrongly. But i insist to get that room that i booked. He took photo of my trip.com booking.  Check in July 11-13.  Breakfast: good nice food.

Abu twice a mth we will go jb for a short holiday ,but this is da first time we try this hotel , actually da hotel location not bad ,but cos of near ciq so always very jam there ,da bathtub only for show cos don't have water stopper ,n da worse part is they not even provide floor mats, when u shower in da bathtub when step out without floor mats will be very dangerous must well take away da bathtub . when I ask da counter they tel me need to request 😅 after been stay so many hotel ,this is da first time I Gena floor mats must request lor 😩 another problem is da carpark was too far from da hotel ,n da room Aircon also not cold n even da hotel corridor also look like no Aircon.I think this hotel try to safe electricity n water ,cos even water pressure also not strong enough.But I like da staff there all are very friendly n nice 👍😉

Affordable & Totally worth the price and quality, staff were very friendly and helpful with our check-ins and check-out process

Everything was good. The room is clean and there is bathtub inside. Managed to get a sea view seat during breakfast

Nice to have the cheering and friendly garden with the name of each plant ☘️ The restaurant view is nice

What can I say except good things .front desk staff Ms Siti kudos to you for helping me out to extend my stay even all the travel platform for this hotel is fully booked for Saturday .and you have gave me a reasonable price that I truly appreciate. Once again I sincerely like to thank you for the amazing customer service experience ..and also to the rest of the staffs .is my regular hotel to stay when I visit JB. Price point is definitely better than rest of hotels nearby where is so congested with traffic .

The hotel is a bit old but the view was incredible. It’s good for short trip. Can visit the duty free shop right next to the reception area. Alcohol must consume within the “vicinity”
