The boss is really nice! He drove his tricycle to pick us up. At first I watched a small blue tricycle drive by. I was still wondering if it was this. At that time, my sixth sense was that I didn’t expect it to be true. We originally wanted to stay here, but unfortunately we couldn’t book it. Wuwuwuwuwuwu🥹 We took our luggage to the new hotel and the owner checked his phone. He said that if it was far away, he would open. Give us a tricycle! This is definitely a treasure B&B in the ancient city. My friends and I searched and compared many B&Bs and finally chose this one🤩 The location is excellent: the B&B is located in the middle of the ancient city. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is not facing the street. It is in a small alley, just around the corner. This makes the B&B very quiet and not deep. The environment is great: the B&B is decorated and furnished like a ******* house. We booked a double bed room with a view. We can see the Great Buddha Temple outside the window of the room, which makes us feel particularly happy. There are small tables and chairs on the first and second floors where you can sit leisurely. The service is very considerate: when I arrived, I went to the north gate of the ancient city and the boss came to pick me up on a tricycle. The roads in the ancient city were not easy to drag luggage with, so it was the first time I experienced the feeling of riding a tricycle. The boss is very talkative and very nice. Supplement: Let me talk about the butter tea and highland barley wine that I saw in the reviews before booking. We have tasted butter tea from 4-5 stores in the past few days. The butter tea made by the boss is really the best in the ancient city. Because he uses fresh walnut kernels to grind them, he will wait for the butter tea made by the boss after 10 o'clock every night. It was my first time to taste highland barley wine. It was very fragrant and sweet. The local highland barley beer is also delicious. The boss has three pets, two cats and a dog. He especially likes this silly blue cat, which is cute and chubby. Damn it, I didn’t expect that the boss would be the most reluctant to leave in Shangri-La (I cried). It was raining when we arrived on the first day. I called the boss and he came to pick us up on his little blue tricycle. The two of us kept driving 5 meters apart. I was attracted by the style of the inn at first sight and booked it without hesitation (even though I didn’t get the same room type for two days😄). The boss was super enthusiastic. He drove his little blue tricycle to the north of the ancient city with just a phone call. They picked us up at the door and got up early to see us off on the day we left. Every night, we cook butter tea, taste highland barley wine, and eat yak jerky for everyone for free. The butter tea is delicious. The view from the room we stayed in is also very good. When I first arrived in the ancient city, it was raining outside, so I called the boss to pick me up at the last minute. The boss came without saying a word. Riding his tricycle, I stayed at the inn that had the best experience during my entire trip to Yunnan. The boss has two cats and one dog. The puppy Wang Yuxi has a very good temper. He will sleep quietly on your lap. He will hum when he is happy. He is the most reluctant to part with him when he leaves. I can’t wait to take him home. . The boss makes us butter tea every night, and sometimes mixes wine for us. The mojitos made by the boss are super delicious! Highly recommended! There are many interesting people here. The boss made us yak pizza, curry chicken and double pepper beef, which were very delicious! After eating two big bowls of rice, it was the most delicious meal I have ever had in Shangri-La. There is a particularly sweet couple in the inn next door, a "Aifugeni" with dreadlocks, two very beautiful and artistic sisters, a handsome boy with very white glasses, a very considerate and funny Sichuan boss and an upright ******* boss, this ******* boss is very interesting. I dragged my suitcase and waited inside the north gate for 20 minutes, separated by a wall but didn’t make a call. Hahahaha, I have never experienced riding a tricycle in the ancient city. Experience, I was a little shy at first, but the bumpy stone road finally made me put aside the fear of traveling alone, and gained a sense of freedom. My first impression of the inn was very good. Travelers, sojourners... I didn't know everyone at all, but it didn't stop us from chatting very happily every night. Every story you have here will have someone waiting for you to share it. The room on the second floor is very good. The window has the most beautiful view I have seen in the past few days. The temple's ridge is shining with golden light, which keeps Guishan Temple in my heart forever like a picture frame. Every day at noon, the aunt comes to clean the room. The sanitary conditions are the best I have ever seen in a B&B! There is a free trial written on the sign outside the lobby, and the boss will do it for us every day. Here your pace will naturally slow down and you won’t be in a hurry to catch the attractions, but you can seriously consider where to go tomorrow. Shangri-La has never been a specific place.
