I stayed at The Humble Administrator Hotel in Suzhou and was really pleased with the experience. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean, well-maintained, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable—right next to the Humble Administrator’s Garden and just a short walk to the Suzhou Museum and several other major attractions. It made exploring the city easy and stress-free. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with everything you need. The hotel itself is quiet, which was a big plus after a long day of walking around the city. If you’re after a solid, no-fuss place in the best part of town, this is a great choice. I’d happily stay here again

It doesn’t look like the photos and was a little dirty and cramped. There were a lot of stains, scuffs, and paint chipping on the orange walls. There were candy wrappers on the floor when we checked in. The hotel lobby is very nice.

Hotel location and staff service are good. I am disappointed that the hotel is pretty run down. Room is dated and does not feel welcoming and comfortable. Amenities and furnishing of room is very basic and aged There is a step to the shower room which can be hazardous for elderly. Hair dryer is not working best

My girlfriend and I booked a room at this hotel for our first anniversary, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff helped me prepare flower petals spread in our room, which was the most wonderful surprise for my girlfriend. They welcome foreign guests, and the price of a stay with them is extremely reasonable. Also, their hotel could not be in a better location! Just outside the Humble Administrator’s Garden, and right next to Pingjiang Lu. Both are Suzhou’s most renowned and historic attractions. I encourage all foreigners to stay here, and 中国朋友as well. The room is very small, the table can only hold a kettle, luggage and backpacks can only be placed on the floor, and the stool is too small to be used. The room is not soundproofed, and you can hear the conversations of the neighbors. People with poor sleep are not recommended to consider it. The hotel is in a good location, very convenient to the subway Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum. The restaurant downstairs is not recommended for everyone to step on the thunder.

The hotel was so big that it was easy to get lost, but I happened to meet a staff member who kindly guided me to the exit. The room was also very clean and spacious for one person.
