The owners of the guesthouse are very kind and genuine. You really feel like you are a family guest and not just a customer! The room was very comfortable and clean, with an authentic style. The hot water always worked and the shower cubicle even had a heater. The location is very good, you can just walk across the road to take photos or go horse riding. Napa Sea is just around the corner in one direction, while Dukezong is not far in the other direction. Last, but not least, the homemade food was very delicious!

A Hidden Gem by Napa Lake , A Truly Unforgettable Stay If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, this hotel near Napa Lake is a rare treasure. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was being welcomed into a family home rather than checking into a hotel. The owner is an incredibly kind and warm-hearted person. He went out of his way,literally, to pick me up at midnight in his own car, and even carried my luggage personally. That level of care and hospitality is something I’ve never experienced before. His wife is just as wonderful, and an amazing cook! The meals she prepared were not only delicious but made with love—you’ll enjoy them right in their cozy dining room, sharing stories like you’re part of the family. The rooms are beautifully kept, comfortable, and far exceed expectations, especially considering the very affordable price. The location is perfect,right in the heart of Napa Lake, making it easy to enjoy the peaceful beauty of the area. I only stayed one night, but I truly wish I could have stayed for a week. This place doesn’t just give you a bed; it gives you memories, warmth, and genuine connection. I cannot recommend it enough. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to stay here. It’s hospitality at its finest.

I had a wonderful experience at the hostel! The owners are very warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. My room was spacious and cozy, facing the grassland, which was very quiet and comfortable at night. Although it's a 20-minute drive to the city, calling a taxi is not difficult at all. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve had the most pleasant experience here, this couple-run place reminded me of home, the owners were really friendly, and I felt safe as a solo traveller. I was invited to dinner with the family, it was the best way to experience the local culture. The room was clean and the view was absolutely stunning! 💓

Stayed here for 3 days and 3 nights, enjoyed my stay TREMENDOUSLY. This is my favourite stay in forever (: the host was super kind and friendly. I felt super at home 😊 the food they made and prepared was also amazing. We chatted when we had the time to and everything in here was great. Clean rooms, good service, comfortable heated beds. The views were spectacular. Green grassy lands, cows in the fields, blue sky with clouds and mountains at the back. They make me want to come back to shangrila ❤️☁️🌾🏔️🐄
