"This is my second trip to Shangri-La, and I was genuinely surprised to find a boutique hotel of such high design and quality right here on the Shangri-La grasslands. As a former hotelier, I can confidently say that at around 300 yuan, it offers exceptional value for money. The hotel also features a complimentary rooftop hot spring, which I highly recommend trying. Even though the hotel has been open for several years, it's remarkably well-maintained. I chatted with the owner and learned they undertake annual renovations and introduce new room types, which truly shows their commitment to continuous improvement. I even asked the owner why their hotel's rating was 4.6. His candid response was, 'Is that considered low? Many of our international guests leave very honest reviews. Do you really believe that hotels with 4.9 or 5.0 ratings are based entirely on genuine customer feedback?' I completely agree. I'm personally quite wary of small hotels with unrealistically high scores where it's impossible to find any flaws. As someone who used to work in the hotel industry, I definitely feel that the current business environment is vastly different from what it once was. She assisted me with my luggage, from bringing it in upon arrival to seeing it off when I departed – a level of service that truly surpassed many five-star hotels."

"The location of the camp, the facilities in the tents and the surrounding environment are all very good. The breakfast was also delicious. Particularly worthy of praise is the natural geothermal outdoor hot springs, which have a beautiful environment and are a great experience to soak in at night alone or with your family. The only slight downside was the check-in process. When I drove to the campground gate, there were no instructions on what to do or where to park the car, and the gate was locked. "I've never embarked on such a thrilling journey. The hotel is spectacularly perched on the side of the Jinsha River Grand Canyon, halfway up the mountain, with a sheer cliff face on one side and the deep canyon on the other. When booking, I honestly didn't pay much attention to the exact location. I simply looked for a hotel near Tiger Leaping Gorge, as we planned to visit it the next day. But as we navigated there in the afternoon, driving up the mountainside, even my husband, a very experienced driver, started to get nervous. The road was incredibly steep – perhaps a 40-50 degree incline? – and what made it truly terrifying was that on one side was the sheer drop into the Jinsha River Grand Canyon, with the powerful river rushing below. It was an extreme test of nerve. I was so scared I couldn't utter a word, my mind racing with thoughts of unfinished business. When we finally reached the hotel, perched precariously on the mountain, we met other guests who confessed they were too scared to drive back down and needed the hotel owner to take them. Despite the adventurous journey to get there, the hotel's scenery is absolutely unparalleled. It truly embodies the saying, 'the most spectacular views are found in the most treacherous peaks.' This hotel has deep roots in the ancient Tea Horse Road. It's situated in a pivotal location along the Tea Horse Road, attracting many international trekkers and hikers. The owner himself is an avid hiking enthusiast. It was such an unforgettable experience that my husband said he wants to make a special trip back. Next time, with this experience under our belts, we'd definitely park our car at the foot of the mountain and have the hotel pick us up. Alternatively, you could arrange for the hotel to drive your car up for you. Of course, if you're an adventure-seeker, you might enjoy the challenge! Haha."

"The hotel is located next to the Haba Snow Mountain Observation Deck on the East Ring Line. It is very convenient to drive by yourself, and there is a super large parking space. The hotel room faces the main peak of Haba Snow Mountain, without any obstructions, and has an excellent location. The weather was clear on the morning of the check-in day. You can lie on the bed and watch the sunrise on the Golden Mountain by opening the curtains. It is so beautiful. It was really cold in Shangri-La Haba Snow Mountain in November, but it was really great to sit in the camp and look at the Haba Snow Mountain opposite. It happened to rain when I came to Haba Snow Mountain this time, so I didn’t see Haba Snow Mountain, but camping on rainy days has a different flavor. I always have to leave some regrets and look forward to the next wonderful encounter."

"On the trip to Lijiang, it is definitely worth staying at Shangri-La Yunji Yeshe for one night. The scenery you get there is definitely better than the crowded scenic spots, and you can enjoy two snow-capped mountains alone. It happened to snow when we went there, and we were worried that we would not be able to see anything. The B&B lady we contacted was very enthusiastic to help us coordinate various things, and finally we decided to go up. This was a lucky decision. We went up the mountain in the afternoon of the first day and felt the heavy snow like in the north. The next day, the sun was shining, and the two snow-capped mountains were shockingly presented, which was so beautiful that it was indescribable. The hotel room has floor heating, so there is no need to worry about the cold problem at all, and the bed is comfortable to sleep in. As long as the weather is good, lying on the bed and watching the snow-capped mountains around you is worth it. The coffee bar next to it is also a place to take pictures. You must follow the road to the foot of Haba Snow Mountain, and you can take pictures at will. If you are lucky enough, you will also get the sea of ​​clouds and the starry sky, haha"
