This place is better than it looks! feels so excluded from the rush of lijiang town, was such a lovely escape from the tourism hell in the lijiang ancient town and a perfect place to end or Start your hike into tiger leaping gorge. The room is modern and clean, a place that feels minimal but so homely, equipped with everything you need. All wooden home stays are made by the lovely landlord. The best part of our 1 night stay here was the hospitality of this family owned business, as soon as we showed up we were greeted with smiley faces and ushered to the fire to relax after our taxi ride. They seemed worried and egger to help out in every way they could to assist us on our hike up tiger leaping. In the morning, they gave us a perfect meal to hike, as vegans. Expert advise on hiking: were guided by the landlord, dispite the fact we didn't have mobile data, wechat or a Chinese number. He drew our hike on a screenshot of a map haha. And came to try and save us from our wrong turn on the hike with a ride in his car to the beginning of hike. Also they have a care of animals that broke our heart with 3 rescued cats and 8-10 kittens. As my bf wanted to add, *come just for the cats haha" WE WILL FOR SURE BE COMING BACK and recommending to all

The view is spectacular, definitely worth staying again if you enjoy hiking and scenic views!

This location is all u need to know! The million dollar view from our room made a deep impression and ten years on, I’m sure memories of this guesthouse will continue to be fresh. It is just outside the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area and you can get drop offs to the park from the guesthouse. Also the start of the hiking trail at Naxi Guesthouse starts just further up the same hill! How better can it get? Staff are friendly and ever helpful to make our stay better. We had dinner as well, simple fare, yak hotpot but wow, the fresh meat and vegetables from their garden certainly made it my favourite meal throughout my 10day trip through Yunnan. Amenities in our room are on par with any 4-5 star accommodation, deco is simple and rustic, shower good pressure, and a very comfortable bed. Very quiet, bird songs wake you up in the morning and then wow, that view again. Awesome! Did I mention their delightful rag dolls checking us out? Book this, you won’t regret it.
