Wangxian Guiyuan Homestay (Wangxiangu Scenic Area) Reviews

This was a highlight of the entire trip. We received amazing hospitality from the hosts. They went the extra mile providing transportation, food, and recommendations. We would definitely go here again if we visit Wang Xian Valley. The host picked us up from the train station and drove us an hour to the homestay. Then he showed us to an amazing restaurant just around the corner from his house. The restaurant had everything fresh. Then he drove us to Wang Xian Valley at 4pm and picked us up when we were done. On the drive back we talked and he suggested Ling mountain nearby. It was one of the best views we've seen with a beautiful bamboo forest. The next day his mom cooked us breakfast, then we went to Ling mountain. After that he took us to the train station, he would have walked us up to our terminal but he couldn't find parking. It was an amazing experience, I could not have asked for better hosts.

Super grateful for the seamless arrangement and transport to and fro from Wangxian Valley. The stay is run by a lovely family, and they are very helpful with trying to communicate in English, which is great if you can't speak or read Mandarin.

We had a wonderful stay! Chen and her mom are exceptional hosts — kind, authentic, and generous. We truly felt like part of the family. The breakfast was delicious (see photos), and the free rides to Wangxian Valley were super convenient. The location is great too, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. This was my first homestay. It was the most humbling experience. The owner was friendly and warm. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They organised all the transportation to and from the rail station (for a fee but far cheaper and hassle free). The owner will contact you the day before on Trip. There was free drop off/pick up to wangxian Valley. Rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I really enjoyed my stay here. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel was clean. The staff was very nice, polite and friendly. I highly suggest if anyone looking for the hotel nearby Wangxian Valley. 👍👍👍

I really enjoyed my two nights here. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and it felt like staying at a friend’s home rather than a guesthouse. The breakfasts were delicious and made with care — a great way to start the day. I also really appreciated the complimentary shuttle to Wangxian Valley and the pick-up service from Shangrao Railway Station, which made everything so convenient. Everything you need is really just a text away to the host. Location wise, it is only a 5 minute drive to the Valley attraction itself. There are several convenience shops and restaurants nearby as well. The room was clean and comfortable, with the usual basic amenities provided. Bottled drinking water is also provided daily. For me, it was such a comfortable and memorable stay, and I’d be happy to come back again.

The best Homestay I have ever experienced! The host are not only so kind and they all worked hard and attentive, care for all the guests. They will be there for you whenever you need them both in person and on their WeChat contact. My friends and I are beyond spoiled from their services, full of happiness and warmth. We were contacted even before our trip started by Mr.Chen for arrangement of picking up( which I would recommend since it is cheaper and no haggling for taxi or didi) and also we asked the host to arrange for our rides ( drop off and pick up )for Lingshan mountain. I would definitely go back there and recommend all my friends to stay with them if they were looking for Wangxian village visit. Their place is so clean and quiet, their hospitality beyond excellent!!!

A nice, newly built family homestay which is 1.5km away from Wangxian valley. Compliments to the owner and his wife for their hospitality. He dropped me off at the Wangxiangu and picked me up at 21:30. However, there was no elevator, so it is advisable to get a room at lower floor (total 4 floors)

See on YouTube, all review Gui Yuan Min Su in Wangxian Valley before book this accomodations and stay here for 2 night. Very satisfied about services, the room very clean, big TV, automatic toilets and the bed is very comfort. Restaurant and Minimarket are available in near hotels don't worry Gui Yuan Min Su just 2km to Wangxian Valley entry. Thanks to uncle pick up & drop us to shangrao railway station and help us bring luggage, very appreciate.😀 Thanks to auntie very welcome to us and make breakfast every morning. 😀 Very Recommended to stay here if you plan to visit Wangxian Valley someday. I had a pleasant stay in here! The owner was very nice, they offered pick up service from the station and later on they will drive you to wangxian valley and pick you up when you're done! It's only 5 mins away from the homestay with car and it was really fun. The room was very neat and clean. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

This was not just a stay — it was an unforgettable experience! 🌟✨ From the very first moment, we felt like family. The owner is one of the kindest, most attentive people we’ve ever met in our travels — truly a gem — and his mother is just as warm and caring. On our first night, they personally took us out to enjoy a Chinese barbecue, which we absolutely loved. The next evening, they took us again, this time to a wonderful restaurant on the city’s main avenue. Who does that? Only the BEST hosts in the world! The hotel itself is also fantastic: spotless, comfortable, with a delicious breakfast every morning and unlimited water provided. They also organize convenient pick-up services from the airport or train station. With our many bags, it cost around ¥40 per person, but if you’re traveling light, it’s just ¥35 — an incredible value for the comfort and reliability you get. The price–quality ratio here is unbeatable. Everything worked perfectly, but what truly makes this hotel stand out is the hospitality. We genuinely felt at home, cared for in every single detail. It’s rare to find people who go so far beyond expectations, and that is what makes this place shine. If you’re visiting the Wangxian Scenic Area, staying here is an absolute must. It wasn’t just accommodation — it was a once-in-a-lifetime memory we will carry forever. ❤️

Had a wonderful stay in this homestay. In a quiet neighbourhood away from the noisy main street, but it's a short walking distance away. Owner and family very friendly, and will do what they can to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Prior to your stay, owner will contact you and check if you needed any assistance for the transport to his homestay. Would totally recommended it, whether you are coming from Shangrao railway station, or Wuyuan area. Anyway, if you are staying in or going to Wuyuan area, there is no need to go back to railway station and then travel again. You can either booked DIDI or your own transport, or ask the owner to help arrange. Thou it is a shared ride, the price is definitely way cheaper. Would totally recommend you to contact owner for transport assistance. Owner will alway help to arrange transport to/from Wangxian valley. Pro tip: when it is time to go back to the homestay, the waiting point is actually quite crowded. Take a photo of where you are (example, directly opposite some landmark..the entrance sign, gate etc) it will help, and remember to ask for the car plate number. If you are staying more than 1 day, and have time to spare, would also totally recommend asking owner to arrange transport for you to visit Mount Ling. But recommended time there, is 1 day for comfortable pace. All in all, enjoyed my stay and would stay here again, if i am visiting this area.
