Woke up only to discover stains on the pillowcases and sheets, which seemed to have survived the wash. But the absolute worst part was the soundproofing. At 4 AM, I was jolted awake by the alarm from the next room, which blared for about fifteen minutes – he might not have woken up, but everyone else nearby certainly did! It finally stopped, only for me to be woken up again around 7 AM by the sound of staff walkie-talkies, combined with the 'bang bang bang' from the construction site right outside my street-facing room. With summer prices having doubled compared to normal (over 400 a night!), I honestly wouldn't have chosen this place if I weren't on a tight budget. The front desk staff, however, were excellent – that's definitely worth praising. And the cleanliness was generally acceptable. The outdated facilities, though, were just a given.

The hotel is conveniently located just over a 10-minute walk from Shanghai Railway Station and is close to Suzhou Creek. The riverside area is beautiful, with pleasant lighting and greenery. While the rooms are not spacious, they are perfectly functional and spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the floor housekeepers were friendly, polite, and very service-minded. There are convenient dining options nearby. Highly recommended!

We stayed 7 nights and hotel was near with the train station.
In the hotel lobby’s coffee machine makes the perfect refreshment after breakfast.
Also i would like to thank for the cleaning team and receptionists. They are very friendly and helpful.

This is a simple hotel that offers all the essential amenities for a short stay of a couple of nights. Its location is excellent - close to Shanghai Train Station and conveniently close to the city center via the subway. The area is lively, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was spotless and cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable stay. Breakfast is provided in the form of a 15 RMB voucher for the buffet restaurant right in front of the hotel. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming.

One of the best value for money options, close to Shanghai station but also in a relatively calm street, has few free parking places, provides 15 yuan coupon in a popular traditional breakfast restaurant opposite to the hotel, has free coffee machine in the lobby, the room is clean, and the staff are proactively helpful. The only challenge I had as a foreigner was to find the exact location since the main photo on the app was confusing to me. It’s better to replace it with the name sign outside the main door!
