Great location, great amenities, it’s an old refurbished hotel but everything is way beyond par

We had a fantastic stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The views of the high-rise buildings were stunning, especially at night. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Shanghai, with a short drive to everywhere. The host was incredibly helpful in every way and very friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Communication was smooth and easy through WeChat, and the price was very reasonable for the quality and location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!

Outstanding service, place could do with an uplift but great value for money

Fantastic location. It is just meters away from the subway station and HKRI Taikoo Hui shopping mall with some very nice restaurants. It just a short walk to Wu Jiang Road which is famous for restaurants, food stalls, bakeries and cafes. The unit we stayed has 2 big rooms. They are clean and have everything we needed. The owner is very kind and supplied water and plenty of seasonal fruits. Very happy with this property.

The towels were very old and didn't smell very nice. It was not very clean. It was very dusty and had things from previous guests. There was an open watermelon in the fridge. The owner was fantastic. The only thing I would improve is the cleanliness, as it's not very good. Perfect location.

There was only half a pack of tissues in the whole house, and they were not delivered even if I asked for it. There was no bottle of water. The only disposable items were normal toothbrushes. The room facilities were so old that they seemed to be bought from a second-hand furniture market. There were many small flies in the shower room. I didn't dare to use bath towels or anything like that, I brought them all by myself. In short, it's hard to say. Ctrip also wrote in the order that there would be welcome fruits, but when we were about to leave, the water was not delivered. I didn't want to take photos. If you don't believe the description, go there once and you will know.

This apartment deceived guests by reselling. On the morning of the reservation, I was informed that the room had a problem, which delayed my trip by 3 hours. I had no choice but to move to the Four Seasons Hotel. All hotel operators should have spare rooms and inform guests that changes to their reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. This damages the external image of Shanghai's service industry. Please deal with it seriously. Wait for the result?

Large apartment, good location with restaurants and metro nearby. The landlord provided us with water and fruit (unfortunately only the morning after our late arrival). We also chose the apartment because of the indoor pool. However, the indoor pool was no longer available - a real shame! It was in the advert with a picture and description. He then transferred us some money back. Overall, we were happy with the booking.
