While the location was not the best, the area is quiet and accessible by ride hailing. The hotel is clean , updated and service was excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean and well kept. We loved the shampoo and lotions which smelled of lavender. The bedroom slippers were comfortable. The beds were just right. At the lobby there is a free beverage machine that dispenses coffee and milk. Perfect for a pick me up and for children’s milk needs. The vending machine at the hotel is well stocked and has almost anything you may need. I will definitely choose this hotel if I return to this area. Thumbs up to all the front desk staff. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The stay was amazing. Everything was clean, in order and the customer service is excellent. Great location as well since it’s 15 minutes away from the Metro station. Would definitely recommend it.

Every staff here are very polite… everything we ask.. they reply immediately and explain very well.. hotel near to airport and train station..easy to transit to other place like Suzhou Hangzhou

The staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. Check-in was excellent, even at midnight, and they immediately offered me a welcome drink while explaining the hotel facilities. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of natural light and a great view of the city. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and small touches like bottled water and fresh towels were always ready.

My experience at Mercure Shanghai Caohejing was absolutely fantastic! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining; the subway station is just a few steps away. Rooms are clean and bright, with comfortable bedding that ensured a truly restful night's sleep. The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding was so comfortable that all the day's fatigue melted away as soon as I lay down. I slept incredibly soundly. The front desk staff were warm and attentive; check-in was very quick, and they thoughtfully introduced all of the hotel's services. The service staff were great – very friendly and proactive. They even helped me set up a Xiaomi box for screen mirroring. However, I booked a deluxe room specifically advertised with a floor-to-ceiling window, but was given a room with only a small window, roughly the size of a TV screen. No one offered any explanation for this. Furthermore, there were stains on the toilet. The flush was incredibly loud and startling, so much so that I had to wear earplugs to sleep at night. The breakfast area also had dark, old stains on the floor (like dried watermelon), which was so unappetizing that I ended up leaving without eating.

I was so pleasantly surprised by my stay at Mercure Shanghai Caohejing! The room layout was well-designed, offering plenty of natural light and quiet. The facilities were very well-maintained and looked brand new, and a full range of toiletries was provided. The location is super convenient; it's just a short walk to the subway station, saving a lot of time for commuting to business and shopping areas. The staff provided incredibly thoughtful service, responding quickly to any requests. They even proactively offered a room upgrade. First time stay at this hotel. Location close to Hongqiao airport. Very clean and nice room. Good for one night stay if you want to stay close to the airport. Had an evening meal across the road from the hotel at Zhejiang seafood which was nice.
