The hotel is located near Jing'an Temple and has very convenient transportation. There are many places to shop and eat nearby, as well as a bar street. It's not bad for the price, but there are a few things about the hotel that I think are bad:
1. There is no water barrier or door between the bathroom and the washbasin, so after taking a shower, the bathroom floor will be completely wet, which is very inconvenient for guests and may even pose a safety hazard to children or the elderly.
2. The whole room is airtight. Although there are windows, they are also airtight. After taking a shower, the whole room is full of moisture and the windows are full of water droplets that are dripping down.
3. The room is not ventilated, so the smell is very strong and you need to open the door for ventilation.
4. We booked a room with a bathtub for our kids, but the leak in the bathtub was so dirty that even a toothbrush couldn't get rid of it.
5. The room layout is actually pretty good, with plenty of space for kids to climb up and down
6. The design of the pillow and the bedside is not ideal. The pillow is not elastic, so no matter how you sleep, it will collapse and bulge on the outside. There is no bedside, but a wooden board directly blocks the bedside. There is a socket on it to charge the phone, but it is easy to fall off.

I booked URBN Boutique as a staycation birthday present for myself, and it didn't disappoint. Check-in was smooth and quick and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious with an amazing view. I really enjoyed the repurposed materials and the rustic but refined ambience of the hotel. The room was spacious with an amazing view of the buildings near Jing'An Temple. I was also given a late checkout, which was also a breeze. Highly recommended if you're a fan of sustainable architecture and want to treat yourself to a comfortable stay.

An excellent hotel in the heart of Shanghai's Jing A district. It's a beautifully restored post house. The rooms were stylish and well equipped.
