Jinglai Hotel Light Luxury (Shanghai Bund Joy City Branch) Reviews

Room was dirty with spiderwebs and water stains. The ground was uneven and very dirty. Shower layout was very awkward. The room did not have a window to natural light. Room and shower was dark. Poor insulation and could hear neighboring rooms and conversations from the hallway. Location was OK for tourist areas. I would not stay at this hotel branch in the future.

The smell in the hotel is very bad I vomited from the smell. The door of the room is not working properly to close it. You have to push it hard. They have to take care of cleaning. I paid 151 SAR for one night, but actually, the price should be 60 SAR.

The hotel is in a very convenient position and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is a bit small but clean. The room smells when we checked in but the smell disappeared after opening the window to let the fresh air come in. The toilet and bathroom are exactly next to each other and it smells a bit moody. I lost one of the room access card and the staff said that’s ok. They also provided lots of bottled drinking water every day. Generally speaking, it’s a good experience.

Overall staffs were helpful & friendly. The main concern is location is not very strategic, walking distance to nearest train & mall is about 15 minutes. foods were limited choice.

Is good to stay but not wow,you just pay what you get. Location is great ,only 5 min bicycle to The Pedestrian street

Reasonable price. Great location for whom not like crowded area. It’s near Metro station and shopping mall. Room facility and size is good enough for traveller.

The room had a weird smell, though it seemed clean. For a person alone the room was good, for a couple maybe is too small and with little privacy for the bathroom. Is very near the shopping mall and the metro. Location was very good.

Good price but no attention to cleanliness. I found bugs in the room! I do not recommend it.

The pictures looked nothing like the actual hotel - it was not modern, the rooms were dirty with hair all over the place, the lobby looked like a storing room and the breakfast was a disaster. Too expensive! Just the location was ok. I don’t recommend.

It's a simple designed and small room for 2 pax. Little room space when packing luggage. And TV is totally not working at all. Although did not on in room AC (as will be warm air for the winter season) per advised during check in, even with opened window the room is overly warmed for even walking from toilet to bed. Think room size would be more ideal for business traveller. Still location is convenient to intended sightseeing places e.g. 外滩
