The position is really great. The room is small but the bathroom is big enough so it's ok for the short trip. The staff is friendly. There are many local foods nearby and near many nice places.

Check in procedure required to take photo of holding passport which was the first time encountering it. Never had this experience with other hotel in China. Bathroom seemed poor maintained. Room flooring looked require an upgrade. The hotel gives impression of non professional managed hotel or motel. The room is a lot different from the photo.

The location is perfect for visiting Shanghai. The quality and cleanliness of the accommodation was average. A renovation might be needed soon. The metro lines were 5-8 minutes of walk. Our first room was smelly because of the drain in the shower. We asked for a room change, and we could move to an other room next morning. The second room was good.

- Staffs try to help even if they can't speak english.
Improvement
- Cleanliness, not only in the room but also common area e.g. carpet at the hallway, and elevator.
- Both shifts' employees were sick and coughing and sneezing without wearing masks.
