Given it's a new hotel, the facilities are impeccable. Thanks to the double-glazed windows in all rooms, airport noise is virtually unnoticeable. The in-room mini-bar offers complimentary drinks, and purified drinking water is readily available from a tap, with an electric kettle for heating – very convenient. In a thoughtful gesture, complimentary tremella (snow fungus) soup was delivered to the room in the evening. Check-in is on the 12th floor, boasting excellent views, and the front desk staff provided exceptionally thoughtful service. The hotel's 3rd floor offers a direct connection to Hongqiao Airport Terminal 2, which is incredibly convenient for air travelers. For aviation enthusiasts, the airport views are unbeatable.
A few personal observations:
The bed was quite firm, which suited me fine. However, guests who prefer a softer mattress should be aware. Mobile phone signal in the room was a bit weak, something the hotel might need to address, but the Wi-Fi speed was excellent.

On my recent business trip to Shanghai, I chose the Hongqiao Shangri-La Hotel, and my stay completely exceeded expectations, especially regarding its prime location and the exceptional service at the Horizon Club Lounge. It truly deserves high praise!
What impressed me even more was the service at the Horizon Club Lounge. The staff's warmth and attentiveness genuinely made me feel valued. Upon check-in, a Horizon Club staff member proactively approached me and patiently explained all the club lounge benefits, such as the timings for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. Special mention goes to Crystal and Jojo from the Horizon Club, and Dave from Concierge, who were incredibly patient in guiding me, providing directions for taxi stands and advising on the best drop-off points for my return.
This stay, the Hongqiao Shangri-La Hotel's superb location truly alleviated my travel concerns, and the warm service from the Horizon Club Lounge staff made my business trip much more pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the Shanghai Hongqiao area!

This place just opened on September 1st. I was attending an exhibition and was looking for somewhere clean and conveniently located. I was among the first guests to stay here, so it wasn't very busy yet. Overall, it was quite good – clean and tidy. The decor is also pretty nice.
