Shanghai Taizhuo Hotel (Kangxin Road Subway Station)

Utterly devious hotel. Do not book. Do not buy. The Taizhuo 泰卓 hotel conducts illegal activities and has gotten the attention of Shanghai metropolitan police. Police have been informed that the hotel uses a fake address (Xiupu 秀浦) when it is actually on Dieqiao 叠桥. Consequently, the Police will see all guests as unregistered occupants. When asked, the Taizhuo hotel cunningly told the Police we were unregistered guests, and so the hotel gets to keep the money and expel innocent guests. The Police came, but luckily we were able to speak and read Chinese, and therefore we quickly pointed out the hotel's deception. The hotel is an evil establishment that abuses the Police's time, the nation's authorities and the wellbeing of guests. Taizhuo hotel and its personnel should be fined, punished and stopped from ever doing business again. The false address that Taizhuo hotel uses on Trip.com 秀浦路3188弄B12幢16号 so that it can pretend to be a hotel. The address that the Shanghai Police found out that Taizhuo hotel uses in real life: 叠桥路456弄16号 which the Police say is a private residential address. The Taizhuo "hotel" pretended to be a hotel and then communicated with Police that we were unregistered guests. But it was soon found out that the Taizhuo personnel were afraid of being exposed as a private residence pretending to be a hotel. The Taizhuo "hotel" deliberately frightened foreign guests with Police power, and misled the Police on purpose, so that guests will leave early in fright and the Taizhuo "hotel" gets to pocket all of the money. The Taizhuo "hotel" has refused all refund requests, despite Shanghai Police officers instructing the hotel upper management to make refunds happen. The Taizhuo "hotel" does not fear the Police; the hotel personnel including the reception and the owner behave above the law.
