"This hotel offers good value for money for guests visiting Verona. It's conveniently located, about an 8-minute walk straight after turning right from the train station exit, then another 7 minutes straight after turning right again (totaling around 15 minutes). You can reach the old town arena in about 25 minutes on foot, so most interesting places are within walking distance. The staff are friendly; I found the room a bit cool at night, and housekeeping promptly brought an extra blanket when I called. Breakfast is Italian style, with a good variety and tasty options. The hotel's decor retains its 1970s charm and is well-maintained. While some room facilities are a bit dated, particularly the electrical switches, you can see what was considered state-of-the-art in the '70s. My only regret is that the shower is over a narrow and steep bathtub. I was concerned about slipping, especially for older guests, and there were no grab bars on the wall, so I largely avoided using it."

Для тех кто любит комфорт будут предоставлены просторные номера, с ванными комнатами отделанными мрамором, золочеными кранами, пушистыми халатами и полотенцами, постельное белье из египетского хлопка, отличные матрасы. В номере полная тишина. Прекрасные завтраки с качественными продуктами и напитками, включая просекко. Отличное обслуживание, приветливый персонал. Заказывали ланч в отеле. Лосось подали с каким-то бесподобным соусом. Кухне отеля отдельный респект. У нас остались самые хорошие воспоминания"

"Served as a base as we did day trips and the location is great, just beside the train station. Walk may be abit quiet and deserted at night. Otherwise, clean and good for what we paid."

"The room is spacious, near the bus stop for convenient transportation, the location is n*** at the intersection, depending on the room, the view is the top. A little walk is to get to the red ancient city building. Entering and exiting, you have to have a pass to enter the entrance of the house, so the safety is also very high!"

"I stayed at this hotel with my family for one night and had a great experience. The room was spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was nice and also very affordable, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, everything met our expectations, and I would definitely stay here again."

"I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day. The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip. Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work! Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes. The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers."

"Marilyn Red Hotel, where Mari has lived! Although the room is not as big as the picture, it is a very refined hotel. Just next to the Verona Round Theatre, in the heart of the scenic area, basically walking to all the attractions, time can be controlled within half an hour! The luxury street next door is enough for a whole day. The Michelin recommended restaurant downstairs, the price is also reasonable, the train station is also 15 minutes walk, no need to worry about the location of the hotel. It was just that the bar on the rooftop had a private banquet that day, but I couldn’t experience it, but it felt great at night!"

"The location of the structure is really invidiable, especially because you can also leave the car at one of the two available garages. The owner is very friendly, very ready to guide us and also to give some advice to visit Verona if necessary. I appreciated the various windows to make sunlight, perhaps a little warm for my taste, but suitable for my companion. Breakfast in the room, including, is a spectacular and well-thinking luxury. A perfect place to enjoy Verona in couple."

"I highly recommend this hotel. It’s close to everything — the arena, the main square, bars, and restaurants — so the location is very convenient for sightseeing. I was also upgraded to a one-bedroom room! The staff were all very kind and friendly. The amenities were great as well: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tea bags, coffee powder, and more. Toothbrushes seem to be available upon request."

"A beautiful and unique hotel with great charm. Family run and welcoming. An opportunity to stay in an elegant, authentic and traditional hotel. The Secret Garden breakfast setting was lovely and breakfast was very pleasant. There is a nice little lounge area where you can make yourself a hot drink and find a book or magazine to read. The rooms are nicely decorated and furnished with modern ensuites. Air conditioning being a welcome feature in hot weather. The owners are obliging and helpful. A more authentic stay than modern or chain hotels."
