"The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful."

The hotel breakfast was exceptionally plentiful, featuring *******, Chinese, and Western options. There's also a cafe on the first floor that offers a wide variety of meals. A self-service laundry room is conveniently located on the 4th floor, equipped with detergent, hangers, and dryers – a real plus for travelers. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service, providing free drop-offs to city attractions such as Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and Norbulingka. Additionally, they offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off services for the train station and the airport bus station. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, attending to virtually all our requests. We are very grateful to everyone who assisted us during our stay. We would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Lhasa!"

There are many places to eat around. You can also go out for a walk in the evening to see the Lhasa River view and Nanshan Park. It is also very close to the Potala Palace. "This time I stayed in two deluxe beds and standard rooms for a total of 10 nights. I am satisfied with all aspects of the hotel's facilities and services. At least the hotel facilities can help the two 70-year-olds in the family overcome the high reaction and adapt to the plateau. Facilities: As a four-star hotel in a high altitude hotel, it provides diffuse and nasal oxygen supply, humidifier, air conditioning heating temperature is high enough, there is sound at night, but it has no effect on people who often travel with earplugs and blindfolds. The quality of sleep is good. Basically, I adapt to it for one or two nights. No high reaction. Hot water is sometimes slightly unstable, but rarely appears, acceptable. The hotel has a rich choice of Chinese and Western breakfast, especially the salad dishes and fruits are very fresh, and the Chinese noodle stall tastes good. Although the coffee machine is broken during the period, the waiter will provide a good black coffee and the service responds quickly. Hygienic: Every day, room service comes in to clean, no sanitary corners are found, the water and disposable utensils in the room are also replenished in a timely manner, and the brand that changed the sheets will also change the sheets on the same day, very satisfied. Environment: The location can be said to be very good. We walked to Barkhor Street, Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. Although the entrance is a pedestrian street, it is very convenient to take a taxi from the side door. There is an Internet celebrity restaurant on the sixth floor. If you are tired, you can eat directly. It is still the Potala Palace View Restaurant, which solves our dinner for a week. Service: The hotel concierge and the front desk will take the initiative to help carry the luggage. During the period, we will also send someone to help us solve the problems. The service responds quickly and has a good attitude. It refreshes my impression of the Tibetan hotel. Suggestion: The oxygen supply machine in the big bed room can be changed to a double exit nose in the same twin room. After all, there are many domestic big bed rooms that are also two people. Disposable soft earplugs can be provided to avoid oxygen generators and humidifiers affecting guests' sleep. Breakfast plus a yogurt category, because the plateau is dry, probiotics help digestion."

I didn't see the Jo Malone shower gel that was commented on before. The room is relatively small. The housekeeper was very considerate to turn on the humidifier. As a result, after eating, the quilt and pillow were all wet. The housekeeper worked hard to change the quilt cover and pillowcase. There was a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, the room was stuffy, and it was very uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast was very clean and exquisite, especially the small buns, which were delicious. You can also park in the alley in front of the homestay. The housekeeper suggested parking in the parking lot across the road, which is a little inconvenient. You can see the back of the Potala Palace from the roof, and it's okay to take pictures. The location is a bit far from the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. It's too much for children to walk from the homestay. In short, it's not as good as the comments, maybe the expectations are too high."

"The hotel's location is excellent for travelers, right in the heart of the pedestrian street and the vibrant nightlife area. However, taxis cannot drop you off directly at the entrance; they have to stop on the main road, requiring a short walk. If this is an issue for you, you might want to consider elsewhere. The service was quite thoughtful overall. On the first night, they offered complimentary snacks, fruit, and even 'goodnight milk'. However, these amenities weren't prepared in my room when I first checked in; I had to specifically request them. I assume they simply forgot. The facilities are what you'd expect from an older four-star hotel, and hygiene was decent. However, on the first night, the lights in my room kept turning on automatically multiple times, which led to a sleepless night. The engineering team fixed it the next day, but no compensation was offered, just a simple apology. When you're on vacation, you want to enjoy yourself, so I didn't push the issue. I just hope they can further improve their service quality. Overall, I'd still recommend it."
