"If you want to find a quiet place where you can ”live in the human world without the noise of cars and horses” during the holidays, you can choose Longtang Mountain House, a homestay hidden on the hillside of Longtang Village, Leishan County, Kaili. Sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room, you can see the layers of terraces and the scattered Miao villages at the foot of the mountain. In the morning, you can see the misty ink paintings, and in the middle of the night, you can see the shadowy lights. The guest room bathroom will be prepared with all kinds of thoughtful goodies (see pictures), and freshly picked roses are also carefully prepared. A romantic petal bath will instantly wash away the fatigue of the journey. In addition, the fruit plate, the sweet soup that warms the stomach late at night, and the attentive service of the housekeeper on call 24 hours a day are all super good (especially the winding bluestone steps leading to the room, and our carry-on luggage was carried up by the housekeeper) There is a quiet hiking trail behind the homestay that leads to Longtang Village. Stroll along the stone road, get close to nature, walk into the simple life of the locals, enter the village, see children playing and fighting, adults farming in the terraced fields, and feel the most authentic atmosphere of fireworks. The enthusiasm of the store manager and the tour guide Xiaowen is even more unforgettable. They will chat with us like old friends, from the traditional festivals of the Miao people to the local specialties, and give us a plate of local beef for dinner."

"Very good location! Getting to the main village is pretty far from bus and car drop off at the tourist ticketing counter. You will have to take a bus and buggy in so carry light or something manageable as you will have to push them through uneven stones. Once you’re at the village, the hotel is just a few steps from the scenic drop off point. Hotel staff is friendly, we were offered a complimentary cocktail drink and ethnic clothing rental at another outlet 50m away. It’s also near an ethnic clothing rental shop (it’s good, we’ve tried them), restaurant and village buggy point. We were grateful we’ve booked this place as we don’t have to push our luggages around further. Room was clean, aesthetic, with a good view of a plantation. "The boss is very nice. He helped us carry our luggage up the mountain. We could also store our luggage when we left. He also helped us deliver our luggage to the entrance of the scenic spot. The service was very enthusiastic. The room was very clean, the decoration was simple and generous, and the whole house was intelligent. There was also a projector and a smart toilet. "A truly satisfying experience! The guesthouse is conveniently located near the drop-off/pick-up point at Bridge No. 1, making transportation very easy. A short walk uphill from the guesthouse leads to ”Pigsty Coffee” and ”Cow Shed Campsite,” where we enjoyed a very chill time sipping coffee and unwinding. We stayed in a scenic view room, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Miao village and its terraced fields. We could capture beautiful photos right from our room without needing to step outside. Complimentary batik dyeing and Miao costume experiences were also provided. We tried both and they were fantastic! And finally, the highlight of our stay! Huanhuan, the guesthouse's host, met us as soon as we arrived in the Miao village and even helped us with our luggage all the way. She provided the same excellent service when we left. While transferring between vehicles can be a bit of a hassle, and there's a long walk from the drop-off point to the ticket gate, Huanhuan's assistance made our arrival and departure completely stress-free."

"Although check-in was after 2pm, I was shown to an upgraded room. It didn't suit me, so I asked for the original room, but they said that the room was not available as the previous night's guest had not yet checked out. They then asked me to give them a 5-star review because they would give me the upgraded room. I was disappointed to hear that, as it was the hotel's management mistake that the room was not available. If they hadn't asked me, I would have appreciated the upgrade and given it 5 stars. I can't write a false review, so I declined the request and waited for the original room to become available. I wish they had been honest about the situation from the beginning. The room had a nice view and was comfortable."

Just a short walk across one of the Wind-Rain Bridges brings you to Silver Necklace Square, and you can even watch the performances happening there right from your room. If you ever get tired of your room, the hotel boasts its own private viewing platform, perfect for taking photos. It's thoughtfully decorated with an 'Instagrammable' rooftop, complete with a bed and a swing – a true paradise for photography enthusiasts. Complimentary fresh fruit and afternoon tea are delivered daily. Enjoying these treats while gazing at the blue sky and white clouds is simply delightful and incredibly relaxing."

"The service on the hotel provided is superb excellent, I would like to specially thanks to ”Yang Yang” as she helped me a lot on my needs and enquiries. The breakfast, teatime refreshment and night dessert are nice too, especially for the night dessert, its warmth my heart and stomach after long day trip back to hotel at night. The hotel is very new, clean and well equipped too! I'm happy with the stay here and highly recommend on this hotel when you travel to Kaili."

Standing on the balcony, you can see the night view of the entire Miao Village. It is still very shocking when you see it for the first time. I would like to mention the hotel service in particular. The hotel front desk will call you in advance to remind you of the precautions for entering the park. Because there are many steps from the drop-off point to the hotel, the guy will go downstairs to help you with your luggage. If you forget to take the room card when you go out, the guy will climb up to the fourth floor to help you get the room card without saying a word, and will also explain to you with a smile that the reason why you can't give you the second room card is because of the fire protection requirements. Go out lightly in the morning, leave your luggage at the hotel front desk, and you don't even need to go to the hotel to pick up your luggage when you leave.
