Being able to stay in such a ”luxurious” homestay in Qianhu Miao Village is like winning the lottery. Before coming here, I knew that the homestays in Qianhu Miao Village were poorly soundproofed and dirty! Until I found this treasure homestay, it completely overturned my old-fashioned impression of the Miao Village! The homestay is new and clean, and there are so many kittens supporting it~ I feel so happy~ The boss, brother and sister, and the staff are very enthusiastic and attentive. The service is very good~ The homestay with the least steps and the easiest way to reach the top in the Miao Village~ I love it~ I will book it next time~

I've almost never left reviews before, but I absolutely have to give this guesthouse a huge thumbs up! I first saw a video of the guesthouse posted by the owner on a nearby forum; it was very down-to-earth and objective! The view was great, and after checking on Ctrip, I found the price was very reasonable compared to other guesthouses in the same category, so I booked it without hesitation! The guesthouse didn't disappoint at all; the scenery was breathtaking! I took hundreds of pictures! 😏 The owners were also incredibly friendly; I didn't even have to carry my luggage myself, and they arranged for someone to bring it to me since check-out was early. In short, it was a flawless experience – beautiful, clean, and cozy. My only slight regret was not being able to pet the adorable cats; I'll definitely do that next time! 😄 Below are some photos I took of the room 👇, all original and unedited. This homestay is really great! You can feel its unique charm as soon as you enter the door. The layout of the room is beautiful and comfortable, and every detail reveals the owner's intentions. What impressed me most was the sanitary condition here, and the clean environment made people feel very comfortable. The scenery outside the window is picturesque, whether it is the first ray of sunshine in the morning or the thousands of lights at night, you can find the most beautiful perspective here. Living here, as if the whole world has become gentle. Highly recommended to every traveler who pursues quality life!

Comfortable and Convenient Stay with Thoughtful Host We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and equipped with smart controls, making it very comfortable and modern. It is the same as the picture. They had a lift too which is suitable for seniors and children. The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with several parcel collections from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. At the last minute, they even helped purchase a birthday cake for my nephew from the city, which we truly appreciated. The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. It’s also a great alternative for families who want to explore the area without staying in the Ancient Town — dragging luggage and changing buses there can be challenging. Whenever we were tired, we could simply take a Didi back to the hotel, and it drops you right at the door. Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

A beautiful and memorable stay right in the heart of the old town. Although the accommodation is located higher up and requires climbing some stairs, it was not tiring at all because the staff kindly helped carry our luggage all the way from the bottom to the hotel. The room itself was stunning, with large windows that offered the most breathtaking panoramic view of the old town. Honestly, it felt like one of the best viewpoints in the area. Every corner was picture-perfect. The design was especially impressive, blending beautifully with the historic atmosphere through elegant vintage-style decor while still providing modern comforts. The amenities were complete, thoughtfully arranged, and equipped with smart automatic features. The shower was amazing too, with strong water pressure that made it extra satisfying. The owner was warm and friendly, offering great local restaurant recommendations that made exploring even better. The location was also excellent, just a short walk from a nearby scenic viewpoint. Perfect for anyone who wants charm, comfort, beautiful views, and an authentic old town experience.

It was very convenient to take the bus from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport to Xijiang Qianhu Miaozhai Village. The bus stop was at the north gate, and fortunately, the hotel was close to it. After purchasing a ticket at the ticket office, I took the shuttle bus and got off at the village entrance, where the hotel staff personally greeted me. Since it's close to the main road and doesn't require any uphill travel, it's a great place for the elderly or families with children. The view from my room was breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the village. The owner wasn't at the hotel, but she responded immediately via WeChat. When the Wi-Fi in my room on the fifth floor had issues on the first day, he moved me to the sixth floor the next day. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that it was winter, and it rained and the temperature dropped significantly on my visit, making it very cold for two days. The room was large, so even with the heater on all day, it was still cold. I think they need to find a different solution for winter. I had a good two-day stay.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the hygiene was excellent. Our room offered panoramic views of the Miao Village, which was fantastic. Overall, a great experience! Thumbs up! 😄👍🏻

Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night. Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... Definitely, will recommend to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and staying at Xijiang Story Resort Hotel is a Super Plus advantage. The hotel is located right on the side of the road, so it is very suitable for taking the elderly and children without having to climb hills. The Loft room type is relatively cost-effective and the room size is also good. We have elderly children and we live upstairs and downstairs separately, which is just right. The boss is very enthusiastic.

1. The location of the B&B allows you to see the terraced fields during the day and the night view of part of the Miao village at night. Compared with the B&B at the bottom of the mountain, it is very quiet and has no peculiar smell at night; 2. The B&B guy has very good service. He will add friends on WeChat to inform you of precautions in advance, and help with buying tickets and carrying luggage; 3. The B&B is very close to the Dongyin Observation Deck. There is no need to crowd the scenic spot Observation Deck. There are fewer people here and the scenery is better. 4. Attached is a view of the terraces seen from the B&B during the day.
