"First, regarding the location of the guesthouse, it's situated in the Taiyangshan Resort Town, which is quite inconvenient to get there by taxi or public transport unless you have a car. Furthermore, it's located halfway up a mountain, requiring a lot of climbing stairs, which is particularly difficult for women traveling alone with luggage.
Secondly, regarding the service, the guesthouse did contact us in advance with their location and directions, which was good. However, upon arrival, there was no one to greet us; it was entirely self-service – an experience I've only encountered with Airbnb bookings abroad. Next, regarding the room environment and facilities, the room size was acceptable, but while clean, it wasn't tidy. There was only a large bed and a table, making it inconvenient to put things away. Also, the air conditioner emitted a very unpleasant odor. In conclusion, the guesthouse was okay, not bad, but I probably wouldn't stay there again."

"It was raining heavily when I traveled from Kunming to Fuxian Lake, and I requested an early check-in. I got my room before noon, which was great. I tried both the Chinese and Western restaurants, and the food at both was excellent. I was so happy to find that there's a Meet Fresh in the lobby; I went there two days in a row! Every staff member, from reception and concierge to housekeeping and dining, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Overall, a fantastic experience!"

"The entry is so calming. A nice open space with plants all around. The Chinese couple owning the Hotel were very sweet even though we couldn’t converse with them (they didn’t speak English and we can’t speak Chinese). They let us store our two bicycles in the house. The room is large and the bathroom is massive. There’s a bit of road noise with the windows open (on the second level). There’s no lift. They owner walked us to a neighbouring restaurant which was very nice. In the morning they both saw us off on our ride. "

"The hotel is large with many facilities. The breakfast was good, and there was a free indoor playground and swimming pool. Perhaps because it was the off-season, it felt a bit empty, and some facilities were closed. The hotel staff were very friendly and patient, with excellent attitude and service. The receptionist (employee number 011) and the handsome receptionist were very helpful in upgrading our room, extending our stay, and providing us with meals. The only downside was that the playground closed at 6:30 PM, and the swimming pool, being outdoors, only offered respite from the sun at night, but it closed before dark, effectively rendering it unusable."

"This time, the service and environment were both online. The front desk checked me in efficiently and offered me a thoughtful welcome tea. The lobby has a nice fragrance and a nice environment. When I walked into the room, it was clean and tidy, and the bed was soft and comfortable, which completely exceeded my expectations. I forgot something when I checked out, and the front desk staff took the initiative to contact me and help me mail it. The experience was perfect. I will choose this place again without hesitation next time I travel!"

"The lady boss was very welcoming. There were only one room left for the five of us because there were too many people during the summer vacation. She helped us book a room at the inn across the street. The price was very favorable. She also took the initiative to help us carry our luggage while we were staying at her house. Before we left, she even gave us the cake she bought to eat. The room was very large and cleaned very well. There were more mosquitoes at night, so she gave us two electric mosquito coils. We slept very well. I will choose her again when I go to Fuxian Lake next time."

"If you're looking for a vacation, just go for it! The butler contacted us a day in advance to ask about our needs and stayed in touch via WeChat. Since it was the off-season, the guest relations manager upgraded us to a lake-view balcony room. The 2.03-meter king bed was more than enough for us and our child, and they even installed bed rails before our arrival, which was incredibly thoughtful. The pool water was a good temperature and clean, and it was great for a swim when there weren't many people.
We stayed for two nights, and the butler, housekeeping staff, and front desk were all very friendly. The hotel's amenities were excellent; everything from the linens to the disposable toiletries was impeccable, and the mini-bar was thoughtfully stocked. Every corner of the hotel offered picturesque views, making it perfect for couples. For families, the fish tank at the entrance will captivate kids for a long time. It would be even better if the parent-child activities were a bit more extensive and engaging.
Located in Cambria Town, on the northeast corner of Fuxian Lake, the hotel is within a 20-minute drive of all popular attractions, except for Xingxing Fish Cave. The parking lot is also very convenient.
The only minor downside was that the breakfast was a bit sparse. The spring set menu was very photogenic, but since it was prepared in advance and left out for guests to pick up, it tended to be cold.
Overall, for a vacation, it's highly recommended."

"Come to Fuxian Lake to relax, it is really comfortable to have such a hotel to rest! The lobby on the first floor is everywhere, and the third floor can see the lake, blow the hair, and view the scenery. It is quite pleasant! The hotel service is very thoughtful and welcoming, and desserts and ice drinks are carefully prepared! I slept until more than nine o'clock before getting up, soundproofing is good, the bedding is clean and comfortable! The hotel has just opened, very new, but there is no taste! Rare! Come back next time, come to Fuxian Lake to relax on vacation, really five-star recommendation"

"It is very cost-effective to travel with children. The room is comfortable and clean, and there is a hot spring for bathing. Friendly and considerate staff.
