The B&B is located halfway up the mountain in Xiaowan Village. The environment is very good. You can directly see Fuxian Lake from the B&B. The service of the butler in white clothes is also good. One person helped us carry the luggage of two people. It was a very pleasant stay experience.

The two restaurants of ”Lake Weiyuzhuang (Xiaowan Village Store)” and ”Holiday Bay Stone Pot Fish” on the side of the road below the hotel are very good, especially the owner of Lake Weiyuzhuang is too sincere, and he told me that the dishes that are not satisfied with the taste are directly free of charge. The breakfast at this hotel almost means that bread is not whole wheat, jam is one. There is no vegetable salad. The hot vegetables fried for breakfast on the 19th have cabbage, which is less. The surrounding environment is beautiful, the community is very new, and many houses have not been moved in, so it looks very quiet. Opposite the community is the Chengjiang Natural Museum. The room is very clean. The boss is very enthusiastic to upgrade us to a high floor. This way the landscape is farther away. Standing on the balcony, you can see Fuxian Lake in the distance.

GGuest UserWe are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

TTajingpuerhuixingxiadehaixiaoYunnan in early winter is a melodious poem. Hilton Fuxian Lake in early winter is even more beautiful. Lavender, chrysanthemums, and bougainvillea are blooming desperately. On the way to drive here, the sunflowers on the lake road are fiercely raising their heads towards the sun.
I remember Yu Dafu said that in winter, living in the house for two or three months is the most exciting period of hibernation in a foreign land in a year.
Then hiding in Hilton Fuxian Lake must be the most pleasant choice. It is like a southern French manor with warm climate, lush vegetation, colorful flowers, charming sea, and birds singing happily. The manor is fragrant and has extremely high negative oxygen ions. I can fall asleep in the room every day listening to the gentle sound of the waves. I sleep well every day. Hilton Fuxian Lake is like a paradise far away from the world.
It is especially worth mentioning that the breakfast is very delicious and rich in variety. There are also local specialties such as Chengjiang lotus root powder, Yunnan broken crisp buns, Yunnan bean powder, and delicious pea cakes... Here, you can experience all kinds of delicious Yunnan flavors in one stop. By the way, egg rolls are also delicious Be sure to ask the aunt for it, otherwise it would be a pity to miss it.

YYangguangxiadexingxingvvI didn't expect to see sharks in a hotel in Yunnan. My kids loved it. The overall environment and facilities of the hotel are very good. It has its own playground for two kids, which is very convenient for taking kids to play. I stayed there for two days and took my kids to see the circus, dolphin show, and several parks. I will choose this place again next time I come.

GGuest UserVery suitable hotel for leisure vacation, the front desk lady has a good service attitude, I can't find the parking lot, she patiently guided me to park, the lake view of the room is simply amazing, the floor-to-ceiling windows are very beautiful and you can see the whole Fuxian Lake (recommend the 180-degree full lake view room), there are many restaurants downstairs, it is very convenient to eat, the Moon Bay scenic area opposite has a Sanya feel, after checking in, ask the hotel for a park card and you can enter the park for free, there is a white sand beach in the park where you can take your children to play in the sand, and take pictures. The view is really nice, specially when the sun goes down.
After arriving we really want see the rooftop with the pool first, because the pictures looked amazing. But the pool was empty, the rooftop dirty and trash was in the corner.
The room design was nice, but need some fresh paint. Nobody checked the room before we checked in. The windows are dirty, some lights doesn’t work also.
The open balcony with the bathtub was the highlight. We had a nice warm bath with 0 degrees outside temperature and an amazing sunset.
The restaurant was a little disappointing. Because, there is no restaurant. They only provide a little breakfast.
So you definitely need a car. The hotel is in the middle of the mountain. No bus or shuttle was here to go to another restaurant. There is also no car or bike center.
The owner and the team was really nice. He offered us his car for sightseeing. They also immediately repaired the broken lights. But the housekeeper just went into the room without checking if anyone is in the room.
So after all, it was ok. But the hotel really need a refreshment and a makeover.
