A double impression. First, about the pros.
They changed our room right away, without any questions, because I was planning on a Deluxe with a veranda on the top floor, but they initially gave me one on the third.
Cleaning every day and towels are changed daily. There is a kettle in the room, and tea was always replenished, as well as bottled water.
Breakfasts are decent - we did not leave hungry. I am already fine with scrambled eggs. My daughter liked Chinese pies. Drinks are so-so (I never drank coffee in China). Fruits are not very good, which is strange for a place where there are plenty of them.
We lived in the main building, where there is a swimming pool on the territory, but you can't swim in it - it is "landscaped". The hotel pool is across the road (nominal road, although a driveway), behind another building. Clean, there is enough space, but cold even at +27 ° air. There is a heated "paddling pool" for children. There is a slide, but we never understood what schedule it was open on – maybe we had to ask.
Cons. The main thing that I didn’t read in the reviews and in the hotel description is that at the entrance to the hotel there is a large sign saying “Swimming in the sea is prohibited”! This was an unpleasant surprise, because why go there if not for the sea? In the end, all the visitors swim anyway, and some Chinese too, no one chased them away.
The main feature of our room is the terrace with a jacuzzi, but! Firstly, there are houses around, whose windows and balconies open directly onto the terrace, and secondly, the jacuzzi does not work fully. It is just old.
But there is a smart toilet)) It is cool and convenient.
But the main thing that I will not go to this area anymore is the dirt on the streets. The lawns are simply strewn with garbage, wherever you go. If you go to this part of Hainan, I recommend taking a hotel closer to the center of Sanya - there are shops and at least some entertainment. Or somewhere in historical or natural places to see beautiful things.
In general, the hotel itself is decent, normal 3 *. Upon arrival, you pay a deposit of 500 yuan (I paid with a Union Pay card), upon departure they immediately return it. There is no promised "gift" from the hotel in the form of a free transfer to the duty-free shop, but there is a transfer to the airport.
I would like to say separately about Kolya (he introduced himself like that because his Chinese name is "too complicated"). He seems to be an employee of a travel company - to the left of the reception there are desks for exchanging currency and booking tours around the island - that's where he is. He speaks good Russian and helps, in my opinion, all Russian-speaking tourists. A very positive person, so special thanks to him!
