Overall, it's great value for money and very economical!

MM41880****InterContinental Haitang Bay was definitely the right choice! As expected from an InterContinental, the lobby is grand, and the public areas exude a strong Southeast Asian vibe, with beautifully maintained greenery. It's very close to the beach, where the hotel provides lounge chairs, towels, sand toys, and drinking water, allowing you to leisurely relax and enjoy the magnificent view of Haitang Bay. The breakfast is quite impressive, offering a wide variety of options, including various Hainanese specialties. The complimentary meal at Tianfu Chinese Restaurant was excellent! I'd seen some negative reviews about the Executive Lounge on social media, but I found it to be perfectly fine. There's plenty of food for both kids and seniors, and the variety of dishes is quite good. The service was absolutely incredible, which was my favorite aspect. Every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly, and any requests made to the front desk or our butler were met immediately – the response time was incredibly fast. They even provided welcome fruit and a complimentary minibar. What's more, the staff were incredibly kind; they actively helped soothe our crying child and even offered umbrellas to escort us indoors when it rained. The mini-train is free, the kids' club is free, family activities are free, the heated pool is free, and towels and swim rings are readily available... you name it, they have it. Plus, our room type had a 180-degree balcony, offering fantastic views of not only the duty-free shop but also the ocean. Overall, it was truly amazing, and I'm so glad I spent so much time carefully choosing this hotel! A big thank you to the staff for their hard work ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻, ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻, ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻!

We booked a Royal Club King Room, and it came with a complimentary afternoon tea upgrade. Since we missed the evening 'Sweet Hour', the butler, a lovely and kind young lady, graciously offered us afternoon tea for the following day instead. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous, providing us with all the necessary timings and important tips. **Facilities:** The TV felt a bit small for a Royal Club room. **Cleanliness:** Exceptionally clean. The bathtub didn't even need a liner, and the bath towels and hand towels were all very soft. The hotel provided two large and one small blue pool slippers, plus two large and one small white disposable slippers. **Service:** After our first swim, the bathrobes got completely soaked. The hotel promptly provided two extra sets, which was very efficient. **Location:** It's in a prime spot in Haitang Bay, about 1.8 kilometers from the CDF Duty-Free City.

MM857129****It was great! After spending a few days by the sea, it was a nice change to experience the mountains. The wooden cabins are unique and offer good privacy. The food at the Thai restaurant was absolutely delicious 😋 and the service was excellent; they helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs. Before my stay, I saw a lot of negative reviews mentioning bugs, geckos 🦎, and poor hygiene, but I didn't encounter any of that during my visit. Of course, you have to be quick to close the door when you go out, and avoid leaving the lights on, otherwise bugs are bound to come in 🐛. It's also a good idea to pull down the mosquito net when sleeping, as I did find a couple of ants during my stay, but that's understandable since it's a wooden cabin!

SSumokuWe hopped around different beaches and resorts in order to not get bored but after two days in Palace resort, we decided to extend our stay for the first time. The resort itself vibes really well with the tropical climate because the location, the management and attention to every detail is noticeably well kept and felt like home. Our host Ashley was one of the main reasons! She kept checking on us every day, bringing us fruit baskets at evenings and preparing our trip plans and helped with absolutely everything we asked for, instantly, even on her off day she was like a perfect Ai assistant with an instant solution to everything. The cleanliness of the facilities and the comfort was unparalleled compared to other famous five star hotels we stayed in. Hope to come back soon and leaving hesitantly.

MM236568****I've been to Sanya many times, and each time I like to try a different hotel. This trip, I chose the Shangri-La Resort in Haitang Bay. While the online reviews are mixed, I wanted to experience it for myself. First off, we prefer hotels with heated pools, and the Shangri-La truly excelled here. Both the kids' pool and the main pool are heated. Our family of three spent an entire afternoon in the main pool. My five-year-old had a blast with the floating mat challenge and the bubble party in the kids' pool – he absolutely loved it! Secondly, the facilities in the Horizon Club room were quite satisfying. I particularly liked the vanity counter; the top shelf had plenty of space for toiletries. The entire bathroom and toilet area are separate from the bedroom, offering both privacy and an undisturbed environment. Lastly, we never had time to enjoy the Horizon Club's happy hour as part of the executive benefits because we'd already had afternoon tea and weren't hungry. We'd then go out later for other food, which suited our schedule better! A big thank you to our butler, Mandy, who provided a detailed hotel guide even before we arrived. The service was excellent. We'll definitely consider staying here again!

YYimingshenmidelvxingjiaThe hotel offers beautiful views along the Dadonghai route; the waves aren't as rough as in Haitang Bay, and the sea is incredibly blue and crystal clear. The hotel amenities are very comprehensive, including its own small artificial beach and a rather large swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, meeting and slightly exceeding five-star standards. The restaurant staff's service attitude was particularly good. The gym is open 24 hours; while not huge, it's well-equipped. The kids' club was the biggest highlight. Our 1.5-year-old baby had a great time. The indoor playground is more suitable for younger children, while the outdoor area is better for older kids. The room facilities are also very complete, with everything one could need, including baby food provided daily and the option to add a bed rail. Special mention goes to our butler, Abby, who was incredibly responsive and practically granted every request, perfectly meeting all our needs. Finally, a minor point for improvement would be some occasional overlooked spots in terms of hotel cleanliness, which could be strengthened. Also, the hotel's underground parking seemed to be under maintenance recently, making parking a bit difficult.

11382325****After looking at a lot of hotel information, I finally decided to go with the Sheraton, which I'd stayed at a few years ago. It felt like the safest choice because I was familiar with it, and it offered great overall value for money. Turns out, I wasn't disappointed after checking in. The only minor issue was that breakfast was quite crowded, but that just shows how popular the place is (if you prefer a quieter experience, I recommend going earlier). What pleasantly surprised me this stay was that they've started offering one-on-one butler service. Our butler was a lovely lady named ”Xigua” with a sweet voice. She was incredibly thoughtful, proactively sharing tips for sightseeing and local cuisine, asking what services we needed, and actively helping to arrange them. My family and I were really impressed with her! 👍👍

She not only patiently answered all my questions but also proactively introduced the hotel's high-tech amenities, like the smart robot that effortlessly handles food orders, deliveries, and information inquiries – truly impressive technology! Even more surprising, there's a self-service washer and dryer right next to the room, with complimentary detergent provided. The entire wash and dry cycle only takes two hours, which is incredibly thoughtful for guests staying longer or needing frequent laundry. KK provided service with a constant smile throughout my stay, helping with my luggage upon check-in and even presenting a local specialty gift upon check-out. These small details really highlight their attentiveness. The hotel environment was clean and bright, and the drinks and meals delivered by the robot felt incredibly considerate. From the facilities to the service, every aspect showcased the hotel's professionalism and sincerity. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for efficiency combined with a personal touch!

SSuiyueran3487Overall, the hotel is pretty good. It has an impressive facade and is located on the easternmost part of Yalong Bay, making it relatively quiet. Beach access is very convenient, and the swimming pool is quite large. My only minor complaint is that the furniture looks a bit old-fashioned and worn. The hotel breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of options. Dinner is mainly a buffet set menu, which has fewer choices but is decent. Eating out nearby isn't very convenient; there are only small restaurants with average food, nowhere near as varied as the Hundred Flowers Valley commercial area opposite the Tianyu Hotel.
