The hotel was good. My room was clean, which is always important, and the location was a big plus. So many places to eat and shop just steps away. pic from internet

Good location close to the square and the mall. Nice buffet breakfast. Small room but ok.

I like the breakfast and it was my second time in this hotel

1. Great location and friendly staff. 2. a. std room, no fridge or tea/coffee making. b. room clean, quiet and serviced when req. c. no room to keep suitcase open and limited hanging space. d. mainly local TV programing except for "BBC" channel which showed French TV, CNN appeared sometime late on day 2. e. power load shedding meant TV had to be regularly reset by hotel maintenance. f. breakfast choices reasonable (some supply issues) g. went for dinner one night and around 80% of menu unavailable (supply issues again). h. for reasons still unbeknown to me, prices were NOT displayed on the cafe menus. Thirdly, if I was ever to return to JNB, I still may stay at Onomo, albeit in an upgraded room. Plenty of good eating nearby, particularly in the adjacent Nelson Mandela Square complex.

The hotel was very convenient and the staff especially Eunice , was exceptional she made sure when we went for breakfast all was in order and in time The room was great considering I would need it only at night as I was busy with the mall I will definitely be back again !

Fantastic location. It's a 2-minute walk to Nelson Mandela Square which also connects to multiple shopping malls and restaurants. Very safe location with friendly staff and atmosphere.

Would definitely stay again! The staff is very polite, friendly and accommodating. Especially the young lady that checked me in, Gift, who helped me with my bags and always got the door for me, the young man in the cafe (was always pleasant, happy and helpful) and the gentleman that checked me out. Although they were having construction, it didn't impede my stay in any way. Keep up the good work!

Good experience. The facilities were top-notch with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staffs were friendly and helpful to make sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was good with many of selection for choice. The hotel's location was also excellent, with easy access to the centre of Johannesburg. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with excellent facilities and a convenient location.

Conveniently located, some staff are helpful. I had a lot of issues getting an Uber from the front of the hotel because where the hotel is based you can only use local taxis. This can cause some anxiety for international travelers who don’t understand the fighting between associations.

Very helpful staff members and the breakfast was really good.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed the wine from Stollenbosch, a famous winery in South Africa. It was a safe place with Nelson Mandela Square nearby.

The advantage is that it is next to Mandela Square, but there are many disadvantages. The quilt seems to have not been changed after the previous person stayed. The room is too small, there is no wardrobe or refrigerator, the shower water is average and easy to leak, and it is quite noisy outside the house. The service is okay. I checked out the last night and they agreed to refund it for free. Thank you. I will not stay here next time.

I stay here every time I come. The transportation is convenient, the surrounding area is very safe, and the room is very clean. It is a good hotel for business trips. It is very close to the seaside and there are commercial streets nearby.
