"The breakfast was superb! Coffee and tea aren't self-service; staff come to your table to take your order once you're seated. The hotel provides a St. Moritz area transport card, which covers train, bus, and cable car fares. This means the high transportation costs are essentially sponsored by the hotel, which was a very pleasant surprise! 😃 If you email the hotel your train arrival time in advance, they'll send a car to pick you up from the station. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant. While not cheap, the food was delicious and definitely worth recommending. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to St. Moritz."

I can only imagine how good it will look when I get a chance to visit it in the winter when there is snow all around with the roaring fireplaces. The staff were very friendly. "A truly amazing stay - Although I traveled alone, I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. I would certainly come back here with friends and family. The hotel is clearly a labor of love, with serious investment and attention to detail being made over the years resulting in an incredibly clean, modern yet charming and traditional space. All of the staff a lovely and very accommodating, giving information on the local area and willing to make bookings and reservations for activities. If travelling for winter sports, it is very much ski-in, ski-out, with just a short run down to the main lift in the morning. Breakfast is continental with eggs cooked to order. Afternoon snacks are offered too which is brilliant and gives opportunity to chat with staff and other residents. St.Moritz is very expensive on the whole (but to be presumed) - Hotel Cervus offered incredible value for money when compared with others in the area. Their mid-week ski deal is not to be missed! Thank you. I will return again!"
Badrutt's Palace Hotel St Moritz
"The history and location are well documented. The service is less well-documented. Having stayed at 5 other hotels in St Moritz over the years, this is the worst in terms of price v service. This includes the Kempinski, Kulm, and other hotels that would not normally see themselves in the same category. Having raised concerns about the service and asked for resolutions and contact, I felt ignored, and in fact, virtually no effort was made to contact me over 2 days. Avoid the cocktail bar where you may have to wait a very long time to be served and may not even get any service at all - 90 min we waited for them to take a food order, which in the end they never took despite asking 3 times! Still don't know why - maybe they felt I needed to lose some weight! Breakfast similar sort of dismissive attitude. Terrible F&B service. The F&B manager, Mr Peters, did not address the issues, provided little support, and nothing was resolved. Overall, my impression was that the staff were not bothered about providing high-quality service, and as such, I would not stay there again or recommend it to others. There are other hotels with the same view but better service."

New Year's Eve dinner was a culinary delight. Thanks to the chefs. Very delicious and tasty food! Congratulations! We will definitely be back. Oh, I forgot, varied and very good breakfast!"
