"Highly recommend. Me and my friend stayed in one room. One room has enough space for big luggage. Bed is big enough. Toilet is really clean even you share with others. A few things were the ac broke down. The first day was really hot and feel like sauna. One huge thing is the locker is free and you can basically use it whenever you want. Really good sound proof. Can only hear footstep while inside. Safe. Never need to worry people rush in your space."

The room amenities were basic; the 'sofa' was just a fabric cube, and the shower water pressure was very weak. There were no slippers or toiletries provided. Breakfast quality was also very average. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience."

"This was my fifth visit to Hostel Room since I first came in 2006 and it is an amazing unique place with a very friendly atmosphere. It is run by the same owners (Mirjam & Monique) since it opened 18 years ago along with their wonderful team. The building is old in a good quirky way and the location is fantastic - a short walk from the Erasmusbrug and right next to lots of cool cafes and restaurants. There is a weekly programme of events and activities run by the hostel and a monthly music night. There is a kitchen with cooking facilities and utensils. The hub of the hostel is the reception bar and lounge area which has really cool decor and is a good place to just chill out , read, have a coffee in the day time. Becomes more livelier in the evening. There are dorms of different sizes so we were able to get a dorm exclusively for our group of 6. We will definitely be back. Thank you ROOM!"

The standout feature was definitely the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of fresh food, including a great selection of fruits (with blueberries!). The freshly made waffles and omelets were also impressive and delicious. The only minor drawback was the slightly small shower stall with a fixed showerhead, which was a bit inconvenient. However, there was a bathtub available."
