This hotel is in a very convenient location if you need to be at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Staff at reception was very friendly and welcoming and the room is spacious and at first sight looks comfortable (it looks better in reality than on the photos I took). Unfortunately, the beds are extremely soft though. That is of course a matter of personal preference and some guests may like the soft mattresses, but I couldn't sleep on them. Fortunately, there was a sofa in the room that was large enough to sleep on and much more comfortable than the beds;-) I might stay here again because of the location, but in terms of beds this would probably not be my first choice.

Ray72Nice hotel, good location. We rented a suite for a combined business and pleasure trip. Hotel is rights above a supermarket. Be careful!! Supermarket delivery trucks keep you from sleeping at night. Also Internet connection not working. Strongly recommend to not stay here. At least not when you are expecting a good night sleep.....Only poor excuse was offered. Friendly staff, just noisy rooms. Stay away!

Guest UserThe bed was excellent; it wasn't too soft, which is a common issue in most hotels where beds are often overly soft and lack support, leading to an uncomfortable sleep. This one, however, was just right. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but public buses are conveniently accessible right outside. In the evenings, you need a key card to enter the building downstairs, which adds a good layer of security. There are also many bars nearby. Overall, it's a very good place.

Guest UserI booked quite last minute so quite an expensive stay but still good value especially taking into account the wide choice and excellent continental breakfast and a free drink as I am an IHG member.
Checking in staff patient and helpful which is always appreciated as an older woman travelling solo!
Well located near the main station in walking distance but also tram stops practically outside the entrance (if your case is heavy as mine was) and you can pay by swiping your debit card on/off as you do now on the tube -just so easy to do.
The shop in reception was well stacked with a good variety of items which were more expensive but you’re paying for the convenience.
The room was great and the air conditioning a real blessing in the heatwave.
I’d definitely stay there again and would happily recommend it to others especially solo travellers. I felt very safe there.

Guest UserWe stayed at Ibis Rotterdam City Centre for three nights. The location is great and the staff were generally friendly, but unfortunately we had repeated issues with the room heating. On the first night, the heating in our room (112) was not working and we were very cold. Since no technicians were available at night, the reception could not offer a solution, and the problem was fixed the next morning.
However, on the third night the heating broke down again and started blowing cold air, this time only in our room. The staff were unable to fix it, so we had to change rooms late at night and move all our belongings to a new room. The new room worked fine, but the experience was quite inconvenient.
Having the same issue twice and needing to move rooms made our stay less comfortable than expected.

Guest UserConveniently located near Blaak train and MRT stations, just a 5-6 minute walk away. The Blaak tram stop (Line 1) and another stop are also within a 5-6 minute walk.
The surrounding area feels quiet and safe. The room is spacious and includes a kettle and a small refrigerator.
The double bed is actually two single beds pushed together; the middle one is recessed.
Self-service check-in and check-out is available, with friendly staff providing assistance.

We stayed at Le Marin Boutique Hotel during our trip to Rotterdam. While the hotel is not far from Rotterdam Centraal, first-time visitors should plan their route in advance. We initially followed Apple Maps, which led us on a longer path, but there's actually a more direct route.
The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment. It's within walking distance to Chinatown, where you can find various dining and shopping options.
We appreciated the spaciousness of our room, which provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The decor is stylish, with a marine theme and dark tones that add a cozy ambiance.
However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard.
The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city.
Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.

Guest UserThe room was decent but unfortunately the window was right above the entrance as everyone is smoking right under it, so don't think about opening the window.
We arrived and there was a sock on the smoke alarm, went downstairs to notify reception and another customer told us it had been there when he stayed days back. Clearly people smoking in rooms, but we couldn't smell it much so that's a plus. The reception staff came to take it down swiftly but it should have been caught way earlier by the cleaning staff!
The bathroom was nice. WiFi worked great in rooms as well.
