It was raining heavily when I traveled from Kunming to Fuxian Lake, and I requested an early check-in. I got my room before noon, which was great. I tried both the Chinese and Western restaurants, and the food at both was excellent. I was so happy to find that there's a Meet Fresh in the lobby; I went there two days in a row! Every staff member, from reception and concierge to housekeeping and dining, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The hotel is large with many facilities. The breakfast was good, and there was a free indoor playground and swimming pool. Perhaps because it was the off-season, it felt a bit empty, and some facilities were closed. The hotel staff were very friendly and patient, with excellent attitude and service. The only downside was that the playground closed at 6:30 PM, and the swimming pool, being outdoors, only offered respite from the sun at night, but it closed before dark, effectively rendering it unusable.

We stayed for 3 days and took a taxi to the Dolphin Bay Hotel every day. It is better to stay in the B&B in Emerald Bay (a community near the Dolphin Bay Hotel). The rooms facing the lake view in the hotel are okay. Our twin room is on the shady side, and the balcony faces the outer wall. If the lights are not turned on, it is a dark room. The lights need to be turned on during the day. The hotel breakfast is simple but can meet basic needs.

The whole room is very short and narrow, and the window opposite the bed is very short and cannot be opened, which feels depressing. 2. The room is not well ventilated. There is only a small window at the back of the room for ventilation. After entering the room, there is an obvious smell of lime mixed with mold (sensitive to smell). 3. The room is divided into one floor and two floors. The first floor is a bathroom, and there is no place to put open boxes. If you put it at the door, it is inconvenient to take things at night because the door is a fully transparent glass door and it blocks the way. There is an endless sea view hot spring king bed room on the first floor. The peak season price is more than 1,300, but the room is small and the floor-to-ceiling windows lead directly to the courtyard without privacy. Tourists coming and going can see the room at a glance. It feels very tasteless. If you live in it and draw the curtains, there is no lake view and hot spring, only an ordinary small room; if you don’t draw them, it’s a public place. 2. There are various lake view rooms upstairs, and there are also rooms with terraces. They look beautiful in the pictures, but the prices are too high. They are completely Internet celebrity prices. You don’t need to order breakfast at the hotel. The bus is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It is very convenient to go to various attractions. It takes 25 minutes to get to Chengjiang City by bus or take a taxi. Within 20 yuan, take a bus from Chengjiang Passenger Terminal to Kunming Southern Bus Terminal and Subway Station.
