I came to Yuxi and stayed here for several days. I went out to play several times. When it rained, I ordered a barbecue and watched TV. It was really comfortable, but there was a small suggestion. The paper cup for the mouthwash cup was really easy to break. It is recommended to replace it with a glass.

The B&B is directly opposite the pier of Gushan Scenic Area. You can directly see the lake from the room, and you can take a boat to Gushan Island after crossing the road and walking two steps. The room is quite unique, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is too simple (just a bowl of freshly cooked rice noodles, and then there is a rice cooker on the floor in the corner to bring you 2 small steamed buns and sweet potatoes or corn) and nothing else. . For the price of 700+ per night, it is really about the same level as a B&B breakfast of over 100 per night. It is recommended to upgrade! There is a bar in the front lobby with a lot of different kinds of wine. Unfortunately, I didn't taste it because I drove here and I can't drink while driving. Parking is very convenient, and you can park in the yard in front of the door. Gushan is a bit unpopular, and there are not too many tourists. After 8 o'clock in the evening, the surrounding restaurants are closed, and there are only a few barbecue stalls left, which is not very convenient. There is a terrace on the roof of the fourth floor, where you can watch the sunrise in the morning. The waiters in the guest room and front desk disappeared. Except for check-in time, there was basically no one coming in and out. In the morning, I went to the terrace on the fourth floor to watch the sunrise. It seemed that the banquet I had had the previous night in the private room of the hotel next to it was all gone. It hasn't been cleaned up yet, and the cups and bowls are in a mess... Their coffee is particularly delicious. When I left the store, I was given a cup of hand-brewed coffee, which was delicious!

My friend bought an apartment in Fuxian Lake to escape the summer house. This homestay is upstairs in a friend's room. The room is quite big, there is a kitchen, the room is very complete, we feel more complete than a friend's house. But this community is not a core scenic spot of Fuxian Lake, and it is more driving to play. If you are a friend to escape the summer heat, you can choose, because the air environment is quite good. As soon as I arrived at the store, the young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and helped me upgrade the room type for free. I opened the door and the room was clean and tidy. The fatigue of the journey disappeared instantly. The hotel facilities are also very complete, the parking lot is spacious, and there are charging piles, which is too convenient for us who drive by car. GGuest UserWe are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty!
Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

EEva13I had a very comfortable stay in this small hotel. The room was big enough and everything was very clean, the bed smelled nice and the owner is very kind and ready to help. The location is nice too, a bit away from the main street, so it is very peaceful at night, but still close to all the places in the city. If you prefer to stay in a smaller more private place than a big hotel, then this is a good place for you! Highly recommend it!
