GGuest UserThe hotel is renovated in an old house with rich cultural heritage and good decoration taste. The boss is a mother and daughter, very nice, and the service is meticulous and warm. I have been here for more than ten years. There is also a pick-up at the entrance of the scenic spot. The room also has a dehumidifier and is very dry. Good recommendation👍

DDi TanThis charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons.
The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay.
All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.

We met these two lovely youngsters staff and they have been so friendly and welcoming! We also tried their dinner which taste better than the restaurants nearby. Would definitely be back again!

GGuest UserYangchun came to Huang Yao in March and recommended by friends to stay in the ”Hanshe”. This is really a very stylish 👍 Inn. The boss is an elegant beauty, thoughtfully introducing room facilities and surrounding food, very intimate. After familiar with the network, I learned that the inn was designed and built by the boss himself. Every place was arranged with care: the room is small but the smart toilet,
Heating, heater, bathtub let us warm in the spring cold; British Baijian mattress, MUJI bedding let us relax, comfortable, sleep feel great. The scenery of the ancient town is very beautiful, but the drizzle has to stay us in the inn, but with a cup of hot latte in hand, sitting comfortably on the small balcony outside the door to watch the rain and chat, it is a different experience 👍

Speaking of service, the hotel will help with moving and introduce the scenic spots along the way, so that an unknown person followed us all the way to the hotel and asked for a business card. I will stay here again in the future because the service is so attentive. I saw the legendary three peacocks and a blue cat named Maharashtra, who was very dear to me. The Niu Ge breakfast shop next to the hotel is really delicious. Visitors who come to stay must try the fried silkworm glutinous rice and water chestnut noodles! Overall, this is a hotel with good service and warmth. I was in a hurry this time. I arrived at night and left the next morning. I did not fully explore the beauty of the ancient town. I will still stay here next time I come to Huangyao.
