The location of the hotel is very good, it is very convenient to see a doctor. Breakfast is also ok. At the time of checkout, we calculated the parking fee of US$28. Where did we come to the car, took the bill and went to the front desk to explain it. The front desk said that it was wrong. It was crossed out on the spot. About three hours after leaving the city, China Merchants Bank deducted 28 US dollars, impatient to call the China Merchants Bank, indicating that the cost does not exist, China Merchants Bank agreed to coordinate. The result is still waiting.

Reception not in ground floor lobby, but on second floor. ”Front door” not readily evident. Parking available according to Website, it is in adjacent parking ramp and a separate fee. Room spacious, well appointed with many electrical outlets, TV, telephone, couch, small but adequate closet. Bathroom, nicely lighted, very functional shower, toiletry amenities, good towels and cloths. Window view over parking ramp and city in distance.

This was the second time we have stayed at this location and the service has been very consistent…ABSOLUTELY 100% EXCELLENT!!! It is nice to feel the workers truly care especially when most of the customers are dealing with medical issues that stay there. 😍

Lady at the front was very nice when she checked us in, but I don't think we will stay there again. Bed and pillows were very stiff/hard. You could hear dogs bark and your neighbors music. We avoided going through the first floor (main floor) because of the overwhelming smell from the animals. Luckily we were on the second floor near the stairs to avoid the smell, going through the side door. The rooms were outdated. It could use some good renovation at the property.

I’ve stayed here dozens of times. This stay we had no heat in our room. At checkout I told the front desk he should have maintenance check our room heater. I had a picture of the thermostat and showed him the air temp in the room was a chilly 62 degrees. He responded by saying they had turned off the boilers yesterday because it was warm outside. I told him that was ridiculous and wondered why they were not turned on again for the night. When I told him we woke in the middle of the night and we were cold, he simply stated we should have called the front desk and they would have brought us a space heater. I told him that’s ridiculous and 62-63 degrees is unacceptable. He offered no other solution, apology, or a credit of any sort. This is very disappointing as most of my other stays here were just fine.

Beyond my comfortable and clean room and bathroom, the useful in-room exercise equipment and great gym, and the surprisingly delicious food I ordered from the bar, my experience at this hotel surpassed my expectations when a manager helped me through a difficult situation. I parked one stormy evening in a Starbucks space under the hotel when all else was full. I intended to move my car the next morning before Starbucks reopened, but forgot to do so before catching the Mayo Clinic shuttle. When I called the hotel, I eventually received a call back from Nick. Because I had back-to-back appointments, I couldn't return to move my car. Nick drove to the clinic, picked up my keys from me at the front entrance, moved my car, and returned my keys and a nice note to my room. He also texted me a photograph of my keys in my room. Nick's willingness to go above and beyond is commendable, and he is a primary reason I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Mayo.

All of the employees are super friendly and very accommodating. I have stayed at Aspen Suites several times in last couple years and I see all the same faces . . which tells you something about the atmosphere and business. I love the wonderful breakfast and dinner Mon-Thurs evenings. Food is always delicious and how nice not to have wonder what going to get to eat, etc. HIGHLY recommend Aspen Suites!!

We stayed at this property for a number of stays over six months while making visits to the Mayo Clinic. The staff is to be highly commended for their incredible sense of service to the Clinic customer base. Many times we observed people in serious physical condition being treated with empathy and accommodation. The front desk and shuttle staff made it clear that they were there to assist with a wide variety of needs. Rooms are clean, safe, quiet and comfortable. Kitchen is well-appointed with whatever you need to prepare meals. Plenty of linens are provided for bathroom and pull-out sofa. Pool area is nice, hot tub worked every time we visited. The outdoor seating areas around the property are a bonus. Tons of shopping and restaurants are within a few minutes' walk, including Macy's, Barnes & Noble, Trader Joe's, Panera, burger joints, and sit-down dining. Shuttle takes guests between hotel and Mayo / St. Mary's, or to the grocery store, the mall, or restaurants, and I believe the schedule was 6 am to 9 pm. The final deal-maker here, is the availability of EV charging facilities in the underground parking garage. Every Hilton property should consider adding this resource.

I write few reviews but given that most folks staying at this location are there to visit Mayo Clinic I want to just say run while you can! Sleep in your car if you must but avoid Hyatt House. Room #1: We arrived late in the evening and checked in and went straight to sleep. The next morning we discovered that pretty much every dish in the room was filthy and smelled of old coffee. Who knows how long they had sat in the dishwasher. On top of that none of the electrical sockets worked correctly. We reported this to the front desk and we're just told it's a common issue. When one can't dry their hair or plug in a laptop to work it's a big issue. On top of that the toilet seat was so loose that one could fall off in the floor. My husband had to fix that. Room 2: On day 4 we were finally moved to a different room. It was even worse. There literally was crap smeared on the toilet seat. I would have left right then but my husband tried to spare me the move and cleaned it himself after a trip to buy sanitizers. Once again none of the sockets worked correctly. I am not sure what is so hard about that. Rochester isn't in a foreign country. This hotel is filthy along with being poorly maintained. The cleaning staff was seen hanging out, watching TV on one room. No protective gloves, mask etc to be seen. One staff member who was clearly ill and even had a bottle of Tylenol in hand invited us to hop on the elevator with him. Kudos for a friendly enough staff but please for the sake of those of us there for serious health issues clean this place up and call an electrician before you let it catch on fire!
