Amazing
CColleen NelsonGreat place to stay will nice sized CLEAN rooms, good breakfast and shuttle to the Mayo buildings. EASY to find, nice area with on property access to trail system.
GGuest UserThis was the second time we have stayed at this location and the service has been very consistent…ABSOLUTELY 100% EXCELLENT!!! It is nice to feel the workers truly care especially when most of the customers are dealing with medical issues that stay there. 😍
GGuest UserWe stayed for 5 consecutive nights, there is a kitchen to cook, but the windows can not be ventilated, so it is too fume, and the food can be simply fried. There is a living room, two double beds are also very large and comfortable, breakfast is very good, the people here are very friendly, go to Mayo to have shuttle service, very good!
KkaixinduduBreakfast is a simple Western food. It is also a Western food dinner from Monday to Thursday. It is convenient to not want to do it yourself. The room has a kitchen and you can make Chinese food yourself. Hotel location is not bad, there is parking.
GGuest UserFirst time staying there. Location was good for us. Easy route to visit family from the hotel. We did a 3 night stay. Didn’t deal with much service, but the desk attendants were very nice. Room was adequate and quiet.
GGuest UserIf you are going to Mayo Clinic, there is no better place to stay then Kahler Grand! It is connected to the clinic by the subway or a simple walk across the street. The rooms are clean, updated & very comfortable. Parking is also convenient & connected to the hotel. Restaurants are within the hotel, subway system or a short walk. Staff are always friendly, helpful & kind! Mayo wheelchairs are available for use ( to & from the clinic & in the hotel) if needed. There is a swimming pool & workout area also.
DDeborah HambleyFabulous hotel & staff ,& great location. Shower could do with a seat & grab bars at shower end & a detachable showerhead, & grab rails at toilet, to make it more suitable for those of us with disabilities. And power assisted/self opening room doors/doors throughout hotel. Shame bar wasn't open. Room bins could have done with emptying more regularly. Rooms would be better with a keurig coffee machine than percolator, plus coffee in rooms wasn't great, glad I brought my own. But other than those few things, a great hotel, staff, breakfast & coffee in breakfast room were fantastic. Staff were all very friendly & very helpful. Certainly better than the last hotel I stayed at in Rochester MN.
