"We stayed in a room with direct pool access for 4 nights and had a very warm, welcoming hospitality experience overall. The staff were excellent, but the hotel itself and its facilities were a bit hit-and-miss. The property feels dated and could use some renovation—the buildings show discoloration, and there was mold in the bathroom along with an unpleasant odor, possibly from the septic system. One highlight was the complimentary minibar, which was replenished daily with water, soft drinks, Chang beer, whisky, vodka, gin, snacks, and even a lovely small dessert in the evening. Getting around can be a bit challenging without your own car or motorbike, especially for elderly guests, as the hotel is located on a hill about 15–20 minutes from the town center. There is a shuttle service to and from Jungceylon Shopping Mall, but it only runs every couple of hours and stops at 9 PM. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I’d definitely recommend booking a rate that includes it. The rooftop bar and restaurant are a standout feature, with stunning panoramic ocean views and a great selection of drinks and cocktails."

"Coconut Village Resort is quite good in terms of both location and cleanliness. It's close to the beach. There's also a 7-Eleven store outside the hotel. Bangla Market is 1 km away. I'm a little disappointed with the management because I booked two rooms about a month and a half ago. I had two children with me, but they gave us separate rooms. According to the booking, they should have reserved the adjacent room for me.Rooms 110 and 113 are both in the same direction and a short walk down the stairs. I requested a room as well, but they said there were no rooms available. So it's the management's fault."

"Really great hotel! It's beachfront (first line) and a corner hotel in the bay. There are no sun loungers on the beach directly in front of the hotel, but the view is magnificent. The sunsets are incredible! We had a room on the ground floor with direct pool access – wow, highly recommend it! Housekeeping was fine, and breakfast was good with a decent variety. They provided 4 bottles of water every day. It was clean and tidy. There are pools, but we rarely swam in them. It was super convenient to relax on the hotel grounds on the sun loungers and then just walk over for a swim in the sea. Nearby, there's an amazing market (the best on Phuket), and a 7/11 is a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute scooter ride away. The staff were polite."

"Second time at Tony Resort. Last time was 10 years ago. This time, as a solo traveller, I opted for what is called a 'small room.' It was indeed small & located in a separate building from the main building in which I had previously stayed. The room was quite adequate for a solo person as it had an ice cold air conditioner, a stocked bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, an in room safe, tv & plenty of wardrobe space & a comfortable double bed . The bathroom had a basin ( without hot water, ) a toilet & a shower. The shower stall was tiny ( not Tony) & was only about 750mm square. The taps were at waist height & protruded about 100mm into the already small space. There was no shelving in the shower itself which meant that the shampoo conditioner & shower gel bottles needed to be placed on the floor of the stall which resulted in me hitting my head on the tap arrangement each time I bent over to select a bottle. Thank fully the bottles were plastic but unfortunately my head isn't but I learnt quickly how to negotiate the obstacle course. Apart from the shower everything else was good. The pool area & pool itself is great with a swim up bar for those who have a need but most patrons seemed to be satisfied with just lazing around the pool on one of the many sun loungers. The rooms in the main 2 buildings overlook the pool area & this is what I remembered from my previous visit so I must say that I was a bit disappointed that I was located in an adjacent building with a view of the car park & reception area from my own private balcony. The staff at Tony Resort are wonderful, from all of the cleaners to the restaurant staff & reception staff, especially March ( yes that is her name,) who always greets her guests with that gentle Thai politeness which so captivates foreigners to their country. Tony Resort is about 650 metres from Jungceylon shopping centre & 700mm from Bangla road walking street. Heading south from the resort, Soi Kepsap is a few metres away which allows access to Thaweewong road & the beach."

"We love Karon Beach, and the kids absolutely loved the water slides! This hotel has two fantastic slides that kept our kids (10 and 14 years old) entertained for hours. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, massage parlors, and a promenade nearby – everything you need is right at your fingertips. The hotel is a good, straightforward four-star property. The breakfast was a bit repetitive, but everyone always found enough to eat. As mentioned in previous reviews, the grounds are indeed very densely built up and furnished, but there was still plenty of space, including sun loungers. Upon check-in, the kids were given a map and had to find various locations to collect stamps. Once they returned to reception, they received a small gift. This was a brilliant idea because it immediately familiarized the kids with the hotel's layout, so they knew exactly where everything was. The rooms are a bit cramped. We booked a room with two king-size beds, but we were given one with a child's bunk bed. Our older child (14 years old) is very tall (187 cm), so the bed was too small for him. However, we decided to keep the room ourselves and didn't bother changing because our view was of the pool, while the alternative view was of a fence. Overall, I recommend this hotel; it lives up to its rating and is perfect for families with children. The staff are polite and cheerful."

"The location is superb, nestled in the heart of Karon Beach, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. It's a quiet oasis, yet close to Karon Viewpoint, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The rooms are incredibly spacious and exude Thai charm. All accommodations are individual villas or bungalows, generally over 50 sq.m., featuring a living room, a separate walk-in closet, a large bathroom, and an outdoor balcony. The decor showcases traditional Thai pitched roofs and wooden interiors, making for great photo opportunities. The pool is stunning, and it's never crowded. The main pool is large with clear turquoise water, complete with stone pathways through the pool, a small waterfall, and a Jacuzzi. There's also a buy-one-get-one-free happy hour for drinks in the afternoon. The service is friendly, and the hotel is very clean. The staff are enthusiastic and can speak some simple Chinese. Rooms are cleaned daily, and complimentary fruit and drinks are provided upon arrival. Since the hotel prohibits children under 12, it's always quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is good, offering excellent value for money. It's a mix of Chinese, Western, and Thai buffet options, and the quality is consistently good. During peak season, the average price is around ¥400–600 per night, which is quite a bargain for Karon."

"Older place but I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious and nice comfortable bed. Cold AC and I liked the separate shower and toilet. Service was fantastic, maybe breakfast could be a little better. Lots of choice but not always fresh. Great location too. Overall I would recommend and stay here again"

"Recommandation trip = Excellent séjour ! Hotel magnifique, calme , loin de l’animation du coeur de patong, sur la route de Kamala. Hotel paisible, piscine magnifique à débordement avec vue sur la mer. Plusieurs bassin dont un à remous. Chambre spacieuse avec grande salle de bain. Toujours propre avec un service ménage à toute heure. Un personnel souriant et serviable. Une climatisation idéale qui rafraichit la pièce sans tomber malade. Hotel que je recommanderais sans hésitation."

"There were some small bugs on the room walls. Overall, the environment was decent. However, rooms with balconies near the street are very noisy due to only having a glass door separating them from the road. If you're a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend them. The hotel's shuttle and butler service was excellent; I couldn't resist tipping him. He was a genuinely kind and sincere person who helped me carry my luggage from downstairs to my room. The front desk, however, was a bit rigid and didn't support WeChat Pay. Also, the 3000 THB deposit was much higher than at other hotels."
