"This is a fantastic hotel. They called me a day in advance to confirm my check-in time and informed me it was a windowless room. Upon arrival, they immediately upgraded me to a room with a window for free and even gave me a fruit basket and a small gift. The hotel is full of delightful surprises: the fifth-floor terrace offers a distant view of the Wanren Palace Gate and the night scenery of Qufu, there are tea tables and small snacks outside the elevator lobby, books on the bedside table in the room, and various green plant decorations. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with excellent, comfortable hot water. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The hotel is also very close to the Three Confucius sites, just a five-minute walk. I especially want to commend the young lady at the front desk; she was enthusiastic and provided excellent service. Not only did she help us find a parking space, but she also warmly introduced us to local attractions and delicious food."

"Nishan Shuyuan Hotel is nestled in a valley with a fantastic environment. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and there's a gym (hopefully the operating hours will be extended in the future). The stream in the middle of the valley is beautiful and perfect for a walk. The front desk staff are very welcoming and try their best to accommodate requests. The hotel provides scheduled shuttle services to attractions like Nishan Sacred Land and Luyuan Village, and booking a room even includes a joint ticket for the scenic areas, offering great value for money. The only minor drawback is the lack of self-service laundry facilities, but overall, the experience was excellent. Highly recommended."

"If I could give this hotel more than five stars, I would. My parents stayed here while travelling alone through China, and I organised their journey from Germany. Since they do not speak Chinese, I was worried about them, but the wonderful staff gave me a feeling of safety from the very first moment. Their service was truly exceptional. They organised tickets, traditional clothing and styling for my mother, dinner, transportation, an early transfer to the railway station, and breakfast for the journey. When my father became ill, they immediately helped him get medicine and even paid for it themselves. What touched us most was the genuine kindness behind everything they did. They treated my parents like friends and family, not simply as hotel guests. When I offered them a tip to thank them, they refused and said that we were friends. I still feel emotional when I think about their beautiful hearts. The hotel itself is wonderful, clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed, but the people are what make this place unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my parents. We will never forget your kindness. My husband and I sincerely hope to visit Qufu one day and meet you ourselves. This hotel deserves every possible recommendation."

"Don't come to Shuyun Pavilion anymore, it's terrible! The room environment was okay, that's about it. The makeup and styling provided by Shuyun Pavilion were rubbish! We booked two rooms with one adult and one child at the same time slot, but when they arrived they said they only booked one person. After checking the chat history, they changed their story again, saying both could get makeup done and take photos at the same time, but they only provided one display stand. They said they only booked one room, it's awful! If it weren't for the child wanting photos, we definitely wouldn't have gone! Two rooms only provided one photo and one display stand, and they didn't even explain it clearly. Who would have come if they had known?! We had to find and dress ourselves the whole time! Nobody cared! And the hotel shuttle bus! We checked out at 12 pm, and asked the front desk if we could store our luggage and then tell the shuttle bus to bring it back. After visiting Nishan, we went to the shuttle bus, but they said no, the butler had to bring the luggage. Two staff members were explaining, and after finding the butler, they said it was okay. It's ridiculous! Who will take responsibility if something is lost after you bring my luggage? The service is terrible!"

They even offer a comforting late-night congee, free self-service laundry and drying, and a gym. Parking is convenient for those traveling by car, and breakfast is plentiful. It's truly recommended for both study tours and family trips!"
