Haka House Queenstown Reviews

It’s conveniently located within walking distance to the town center. The front desk staff are kind and friendly. The room is simple but has everything you need. There's a kitchen as well, so you can cook your own meals. Parking seems to be on a first-come, first-served basis, so I recommend securing a spot early.

The house and facilities were ok but not the room. I was a solo traveler in a 6 bed room. The room smells a lot. It was complicated to get on the top bed. The baking sheet was really bad. But in a really nice place, just in the center. Very nice welcoming.

I had high expectations after staying at the Haka House in Wanaka which were not met. This branch is merely a big old house turned into hostel. the room was small, dark and smelly.Only positive things were location and helpfulf staff.

The location is great, but there's no elevator, which is a bit inconvenient. All the bathrooms are public, but it's fine if you don't mind.

Nothing impressive, quite outdated kitchen, no free parking, flooring quaky sound.

Close to the city centrum. Good kitchen. Very cold accommodation, not pleasant. parking fee NZD 10 per night.

Good location. Beds with curtains were great. Kitchens were small but had a lot of equipment. The lounge area is nice. Not enough toilets.

Good location, quite basic room but also a lot cheaper than other places in Queenstown.

The staff here are superrr nice and supportive. The wooden bunk bed stands firmly and doesn't make a loud sound when I climb up or down, which is nice. Central location and walking distance to the supermarket. A well equipped kitchen definitely is a bonus
