We booked a twin room, which was very spacious, allowing even large suitcases to be opened fully without feeling cramped. We checked in during the afternoon. The housekeeping was impeccable, and the front desk service was also top-notch. They proactively called to confirm our check-in details, and throughout our stay, any questions or issues we had were promptly addressed and resolved when we called the front desk. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The pillows were on the softer side but still offered good support, and the duvet had a comforting weight, perfect for those who prefer a secure feeling while sleeping. My friend and I both fell asleep the moment our heads touched the pillows every night during our stay. It was easy to get a taxi from the hotel, and the location is excellent, with plenty of small shops and entertainment facilities nearby. The Vientiane Hui (MixC) Shopping Mall is just about 600 meters straight ahead from the hotel. Many restaurants recommended on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) are also in the vicinity, either a short walk away or a quick 10 RMB taxi ride.

The room was very spacious, and the service was incredibly attentive. The hotel offers a free airport pickup service, which is super convenient, and they even use a business van for it! Upon arrival, someone was at the hotel entrance to help with our luggage. During check-in, they proactively offered us a refreshing cup of sour plum juice. It's these thoughtful details that really stand out!

The bathroom and toilet had a very sensible layout, and the mirror was huge. Their service was truly excellent; they promptly came to our room to fix the blocked bathroom drain, even late at night. I recommend the family-style room for a family of three; it's very spacious. Even though we only stayed for one night, the comfort was exceptional. The hotel also provided a welcome gift upon check-in, which was a warm and unique touch. I truly loved this hotel. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I get the chance. 😊

The service was excellent. They contacted me on the morning of check-in with local food recommendations and a travel guide. When they heard we had children, they thoughtfully prepared a child safety rail. The room was very clean and included a mini-fridge, making our stay very pleasant. Free parking is also a big plus, especially for those traveling by car. Overall, a really enjoyable stay!

I secured tickets for Stefanie Sun's concert, but with high-speed train tickets unavailable, I drove for 8 hours to get there. I found this hotel on Ctrip, which popped up as a top result near the concert venue, despite being 18km away. Overall, my initial impression was positive. On the day of arrival, a hotel representative called via Ctrip to reconfirm my check-in details, special requests, and estimated arrival time, which was a nice touch. As an EV driver, I appreciated that while the hotel lacks its own charging stations, there are at least two public charging points within 500 meters, which was very convenient. My car was directed to the outdoor parking lot. Entry required calling the front desk from a phone at the barrier each time for access, which was a minor hassle. Plenty of dining options are available nearby. I enjoyed Korean BBQ at Dongdaemun, though I did manage to stain my white pants! My room was on the 5th floor, a convenient location as breakfast, the gym, and laundry facilities are all on the same level. However, being on the 5th floor, it could get a bit noisy during morning breakfast hours. As a solo traveler, I was only given one room key. This became a minor inconvenience when using the laundry room, as I had to remove the key from my room's power slot, and no other card would activate the electricity in the room. Facial tissues were only provided on the bedside table; it would be more convenient if they were also placed on the mini-bar counter or in the open vanity area. On the plus side, the room included complimentary welcome fruits and small canned beverages in the mini-fridge. The shower offered excellent water temperature and pressure. The minced pork noodles for breakfast were also quite tasty. Overall, I had a good stay.

We had a two night stay at the Roygem. The hotel is very well kept. The reception staff were accommodating, knowledgeable and extremely helpful with directions even with limited English. They have a pick up and drop off service from the Airport and Train station which was great. Stress free. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable with the latest gadgets. Breakfast is a varied buffet, the food is quality and the staff attentive. 9.5/10.
