**Patong Bay Hill Resort Review** *Stay Period: August 13-17, 2025* *Rating: 4/5 stars* My family and I recently spent four nights at Patong Bay Hill Resort with friends, and overall, it proved to be a pleasant hillside retreat with both strengths and minor limitations. **Accommodation & Location** We booked a pool access sea view room, which was impressively spacious. The bedroom comfortably accommodated our family of three, while the separate hall area could easily house an additional couple. The elevated location provides excellent panoramic views and delivers an authentic Thai local resort atmosphere that many guests will appreciate. **Service & Amenities** The staff consistently demonstrated exceptional hospitality throughout our stay. Room service operates until 11 PM, with housekeeping available 24 hours - a thoughtful touch for families. One pleasant surprise was discovering the resort spans multiple buildings across different elevations. For guests who prefer not to walk extensively, the resort provides complimentary 24-hour shuttle service between buildings and to the reception area. Transportation to Patong Beach (1.5-2 km away) is conveniently provided via free shuttle service until 11 PM, with Bangla Road just another 200-300 meters beyond the beach. **Dining Experience** The resort offers decent food quality, though options lean toward local cuisine. While vegetarians seeking Indian dishes may find limited choices, both egg-eaters and non-vegetarians will find ample variety. We particularly enjoyed the chicken delight pizza, which had a charming homemade quality reminiscent of early Asian pizza establishments. **Physical Considerations** The hillside location naturally involves considerable walking and elevation changes. Spacious room, nice view and good services by the staff. They even deco the bed for us to celebrate our birthday. They have shuttle services to nearby area too.

Terrible hotel. Terrible customer service. Staff are chaotic, and make you run around for them. Very inefficient processes. The shuttle will make you wait up to 20 minutes despite constantly calling. I never write reviews but this experience was dreadful. Please avoid if you want to have a good holiday. There’s so much more I want to write but let me leave it at the photo of the pool and it’s chlorine you get covered in while swimming

We had a truly wonderful stay at Patong Bay Hill Resort. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff’s hospitality exceeded our expectations – always warm, helpful, and professional. Our room was clean, spacious, and the private jacuzzi added a perfect romantic touch for couples like us. We genuinely loved everything about this hotel. No complaints at all – just beautiful memories.

Cozy spacious room. Love the pool and the pool bar!Location wise is slightly far from Patong area, having a car/motorcycle is advisable.

Our stay here was a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and stunning views. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any needs.

It was a lovely stay and good for any solo traveler. I just wish they updated their rooms as they seem really outdated. But it is good value for money

This resort is very fancy and luxurious even though the nightly price is very reasonable. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast can be tastier, that would be my recommendation, and the free shuttle could be more frequent. But overall we're very satisfied.

cool place but needs a renovation service is good but the resort is so big and the shuttle cars can be late and you need those shuttle cars literally every-time you leave your room its a big resort. the food is fine not bad there is a 24h market right in front of the lobby and atm machines even currency exchange machines its a good choice if its your first time in phuket its actually a good location

The resort was fantastic. The room was also great, they I was upgraded on stay. The only thing that caused it to not be 5 stars is that there were (a very few) ants on the kitchen counter. 24/7 shuttle up and down from your hotel room, and shuttle service to the main lands if you would like to be transferred for free without paying for Taxi. They also have shuttle service to the airport / anywhere for a fee (more expensive than Grab but cheaper than Taxi), they have motorcycle/car rentals, and they have money exchange at a reasonable rate as well. I would come back if in Patong for an extended stay.

The resort is very simple yet very clean. The renovated rooms are great. There was a small issue with water pressure in the room which was not solved but it was not big enough to create an impact on the whole trip. The room shuttle service ride is a bit steep. It provides to and fro shuttle service to Patong (mall and beach) 4 times a day which is very decent. Overall it was a nice experience specially for the price paid.

Pathetic hotel the service and staff at reception was rude Nobody care to help you with luggage I booked 2 villas and to leave in between and when i requested them to cancel my booking for 2 days they gave me the reason as its not a tourist season so they won’t cancel the booking I was staying in q26 and q17 villas There villa lock doesn’t work and when call them ti send the key card they asked for 300 bhaat first and let you wait for 30 minutes as the villas are far from the reception

The location was very far and inconvenient, have to take a shuttle bus to our room. shuttle bus to the room timing is inconsistent. Have a couple of friendly stuff, restaurant stuff was not very friendly and the food was not tasty. Our room view was great, but i suggest a 2 night stay will do

Hotel is far up a steep incline from central Patong and hence not very accessible. Rooms are very spacious with simple furnishings. Checked in on a hectic day so service was a bit rough on the edges especially the buggy services which is necessary due to the size and inclines of the hotel.
